"This guy is phenomenal. My son’s front door was water damaged & rotting. Aaron explained to fix the problem the door frame needed replacement. His price was completely reasonable considering the scope of the job. The door also had an exterior weather door that caused an unexpected issue when re-installing. Aaron did amazing work to fabricate a perfect solution. He was prompt, friendly & completely trustworthy throughout all encounters. "As part of our replacing carpet with LVP flooring, we had to reconfigure a handrail with spindles. The spindles had to be removed from the underlayment, a plate needed to be installed, and the spindles needed to be reinstalled. There was some trim work which was needed on the stairwell side of the handrail as well. The really hard part was that it had to be done with very little lead time. Aaron and Bonnie came and reviewed the project with us, talked about our options, worked up a very acceptable quote, and gave us a date for their work. The whole project took them less than a day and was done to perfection. (We were uncertain at the time as to how we would finish the wood, so that was not included in their scope of work.) Their work was precise, on time, and affordable. Watching them work together was a fun side-benefit. Good people. We would highly recommend Aaron Custom Carpentry for projects such as ours. "The whole process went very smooth.  From the first estimate until completion.  JD is very easy to communicate with, and is very professional, and a man of his word.
We have several estimates on replacing our window and doors.  Wood Rot was the highest of the three by a several thousand dollars.  We choose Wood Rot solutions anyway.  And very glad that we did.  His service and workmanship is well worth the extra money.
WE could not be any happier with our windows, and doors.  And would recommend that if you want things done right, I would pay the extra cost and use Wood Rot Solutions.

"What an excellent experience! I called Sissi Basement Waterproofing to come out to look at the terribly leaking basement of our recently purchased, more than 100 years old house. Lewis and his team came out that very same day. They walked around in the backyard looking at the gutters, the downspouts, the patio… Then they found why the water went into the basement and made a plan about how to redirect the water flow and waterproof the basement. Next day they provided us with an estimate. There was never any attempt to cause concern or up-sell throughout the whole project. They provided alternatives along with the pluses and minuses of each.
