The person who did the actual repairs was very thorough. He did find an issue and corrected that problem, did an overall check of the rest of the roof, and corrected some other areas. "The plumber arrived within the time frame, identified what had to be done and offered different models and price options regarding the replacement heater. Mario the plumber, was very knowledgeable in regards to what the new water heater standards are and what would best work in the space available. After agreeing on the replacement model and price, he picked up the unit from storage and within 2 hours had replaced the unit. During the install he explained in detail the features of the new unit and why new connections (replaced copper with flex piping) would prevent electrolysis due to steel pipes coming out of the heater and copper pipes installed in the home. All in all a very professional job. I would definitely recommend Legend Plumbing to friends and neighbors."

After troubleshooting the existing timer based 25K system, he provided a detailed estimate of repair. He also provided a detailed estimate for replacement cost using a Puronics softener.



Gary discussed the pros/cons of repair vs new install and advised me think it over and get back to them when I felt comfortable with my choice. "I purchased a "half-day" coupon on Angie's List for $279 and had a list of 5 repair jobs that I figured would take about that long to complete which would make the price worthwhile.  The young repairman who came out (sorry I can't remember his name) did a great job of repairing my front door latch & loose strike plate, and repairing two loose outlets set in the wood siding of my kitchen island.  However, though he tried, he wasn't able to repair my patio umbrella, and said the ceiling fan's noise was an indication that it needed to be replaced rather than repaired.  As a result of only two items actually being repaired, I felt I'd overpaid since I didn't end up needing anyone for a "half day" after all.  That wasn't the fault of the repairman, who was very nice, but I will think twice about buying such an offer again.  It may be better to hire by the job or by the hour.

"Herman did a stellar if not spectacular job. His demeanor was timely, knowledgeable and professional. It was an issue I’d tried to work through with 3M hole repair after sanding. In time the drywall would crack again. Herman replaced the entire section, pointing out the dry wall had not been installed correctly in that location to begin with. This was plainly visible to me once he removed the original drywall."
