"Mark arrived at my Piano Studio on time and did such a high-quality job. This is the only company of several I contacted, that had the skills and knowledge to actually both stretch and clean the carpet without me having to hire professional piano movers to move my full size grand piano out of the room while the work was being completed. The carpet looks brand new, like it was just installed today. Wonderful people who do an amazing job. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ~ Happy Customer"

"They were friendly, very informative and knowledgeable in carpet types and needs. James answered all of our questions and offered explanations as he worked. He and Nick were fast, yet thorough. "Dave and his crew really came through for us. We had pre-purchased carpet for a remodeled attic about a year earlier that needed to be installed. When the crew came to Install the carpet they let us know that we did not buy enough carpet to finish the job. Dave and his team installed what they could and then squeezed us into their packed schedule a week later after we purchased the remaining carpet. The crew was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Our carpet looks great and we are glad we found Pannell Floors!"

"I liked the fact that I could go to the flooring store he recommended, select the flooring I wanted and then have it picked up by him.  I had no way to transport something of that size.  David arrived on time for both the estimate appointment and for the installation.  The original plan was to just do the bathroom flooring, but while he was here I asked him about the vinyl in my entryway, thinking this would be a future project.  He explained that it would be more economical for me if he did it today, as a different day would require another trip charge.  He went out to his truck, found a remnant I liked and took care of the entryway right then.  I really appreciated that.  I am a bit naive in how projects like this work.  Someone less ethical might have been happy to come another day and charge me for the separate trip.  I learned a valuable lesson and was thankful for David's honesty.  As if that was not enough, he kindly replaced a few tiles around the bathroom which had come loose/come off with the pounding during the replacement of the sub flooring by a prior workman.  I am 100% satisfied and will certainly hire DJ's Floors again. <br /> <br />"

"This is the third time that Sergey has completed work for me and he always provides outstanding work and service! <br /> <br /> He installed a floating floor in a guest bedroom and closet a few months ago.  In the interim, I had to remove some built-in shelves and and old air duct from the closet.  Because the air duct had gone all the way to the floor, there was a small patch of exposed foundation after the duct was removed.  Sergey managed to remove the previously installed (glued down) planks and replaced them with new ones.  He also was creative with the materials that I already had in order to create a baseboard and base shoe for that area as well. <br /> <br /> The finished area looks flawless! <br /> <br /> Sergey is a great craftsman; he is conscientious, detail-oriented, very tidy and easy to work with on projects large and small.  I have a hectic work schedule myself and rarely have days off.  He was very accommodating with my schedule.  He drove a long distance from a project in Washington to Portland to squeeze in my project on a day that I could be at home.  I'm sure he will have a longer work day because of this. <br /> <br /> I recommend Sergey without reservation and will hire him again for future projects!"

"I absolutely love them. They are completely responsible and very thorough. They will come back and do a touch up if need be on any stains on the carpets that do not come out. I would not ever change carpet cleaners. I adore them and I will use them again in the future."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Battle Ground, WA

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
