He was very understanding today when I had maintenance done, I lost $20 of the cash out that I was going to pay for the service, ultimately I wrote a check for the other $20, but he was very understanding of the inconvenience that I provided for him. I am so embarrassed, but I'll get over it I guess. He worked well around my crazy family, and was very patient and kind. I was not able to find anyone to perform services within my budget, but when I found matchbox it was a blessing."

"Advantage did the work as quoted in a professional and none invasive manner. They were polite even to our freaked out cats and efficient to minimize disturbing our household considering the invasive needed for the cleaning. The price charged was fair for the work required to clean our ducts."

"I researched all the gutter covers and Leaf Guard types, none of them seem to work over time. Initial reviews are always decent, but you look about 5 years down the road, they stop working. I found Leaf Drop on Angie's List and the design seemed to be a well designed and functional product. As other reviews have said, the design is so the leaves can move down the spouts and be cleaned out of the water path. Dan came out to give me an estimate for both a fix and a total replacement to the "6K" larger capacity gutters. The installers were great, they added a second downspout to my back gutter which always over flowed in heavy rain. So far, been working well. Have had a great experience with Dan and his crew, will do business with them again when I replace my entire house system. Good company and product."

"Eds Economy Roofing re-roofed our home several years ago. We are not trained as roofers so we depended on Eds Economy Roofing to re-roof our home properly, according to industry standards. That was our mistake. They were nice and finished the job quickly as you may read in other reviews. However, they did not vent the roof to allow condensation to exit as specified by the building code. They also did not install edge flashing which keeps water from creeping up under the roofing material. As a result of not being vented, and of not having edge flashing, the roof failed. Not only did the shingles fail, but the sheeting rotted, the insulation was ruined, and the rafters were rotten. We hired a general contractor to repair the damage and re-roof the house at a cost of over $80,000. This review could go on for pages, but I won’t bore you with all of the details. After going through the expense and stress of having our roof rebuilt, I cannot recommend that you use Eds Roofing for your roofing needs."

"Job was well done, very happy with the work. However, any job can stand better communication. Tuck pointing apparently requires power-grinding and is very messy. This was not conveyed up front that anything sensitive nearby should be moved or protected and my new car (which I agree I should have moved had I read the work order again the night before ) was within 30' and got fine ash debris on it even though they covered it. I was a little upset, but ultimately everything was fine. I'd recommend these folks simply for their honesty. When they bid the job they were straightforward, did not push unnecessary extra work. Most other bidders pushed for additional work I did not ask for or truly did not need. Being an architect I knew the scope necessary. They did what I asked and even re-shuffled their schedule to get the work done before our vacation. Even though we had the one hiccup I would highly recommend them. Next time I would make sure to talk thru the project w/ the on-site foreman the day before to understand all things involved."

"This company advertises on their website and all other profiles that they offer 24/7 emergency services but very clearly only operate 40 hours a week. After repairing a part for me 6 weeks ago, I found my furnace malfunctioning again and due to the recent repair I felt obligated to go through Rose Heating again in case it was the same part malfunctioning (as it would be under warranty). I called and left voicemails on 4 separate days (all during regular business hours) and did not receive a call back until I reached out to a competitor. The competitor (who does not advertise 24/7 services) was not able to schedule me for a few weeks but was kind enough to call Rose Heating while I was on the line to attempt to reach them directly. It was not until this competitor left a voicemail on my behalf that I finally received a response from Rose Heating. After explaining my gripe to Jim (owner of Rose Heating) he was not apologetic whatsoever and essentially told me I was free to use another company in the future. I was not offered any consolation and was charged for the full service fee and part that needed to be replaced. I'm extremely disappointed in their customer service for ignoring my voicemails for 5 days (while advertising 24/7 services). I fully believe I would have been ignored had the competitor not reached out on my behalf. Jim also did not understand why I felt obligated to use Rose Heating even after explaining that I, as a layman, have no way of knowing if it's the same part he had just replaced that is malfunctioning again. Jim will tout over and over again that they've been in business for over 60 years (3rd generation owner) and they're the oldest HVAC company in the state. However, inheriting a family business does not give you a pass to provide non-existent customer service. The success of his grandfather's business is not any indication that Jim will provide the same level of quality they might have once been known for."

"Jason Doran is currently operating on a suspended CCB license #147440. He appears to now be running his business under the name of Chimney-Pro (most likely due to the license suspension). There is a reason why he has received numerous 1 star reviews and it is because he is completely incompetent and a p*** poor "con artist." He is not licensed to work in the state of WA but did so toward the end of 2024. We filed a complaint with the WA Dept of Labor and Industries. He is being fined in the amount of $1,200 for this violation. We paid him $2,000 to perform work. He royally f'd up the job. We offered to settle for a refund for $1,000, he declined. We just won a small claim judgment against him in the current amount of $2,496.38. If he continues to avoid this situation, the fees will only increase. Do not hire Master Sweep or Chimney-Pro."
