"I've read reviews from other people, and it's interesting how people can have different experiences. I had a 26X65 concrete slab put in, and culvert put in along with some grading done. Kevin came when he said he would and did what he said he would do. I guess my experience overall was one that hit a lot of different angles. The work done was great, but there were some misunderstandings that was of no fault of Kevin's, but I made them his. One of which was no fault of mine, either, but the company led me down the wrong path painting the picture that what Kevin was supposed to do didn't. As I was out of town, I called him up and voiced my displeasure. He responded very professionally and explained the situation to make me understand that he did do what was asked of him. A couple other times, a text went awry and something else that I have since forgotten. But each time he handled himself professionally and had no attitude despite being falsely accused. I'm sorry to hear of other people's situation, but I can only speak for myself and what I experienced. The other thing that impressed me was Kevin was willing to haul his equipment, and did, from a few hours away to regrade an area that this company said they couldn't get across, which was the companies miscommunication. The other thing is response time. There was one time it took a while for him to respond, but living in a rural area, and given that if you're in the middle of a job, I can't expect someone to always be available. One time we even lost connection due to how things are. Just something to keep in mind if you live in an area with ONE bar : /"

"Josh and the team did a really big job for us last week. They encapsulated our large crawl space, treated wood for mold, installed a sump pump, filled multiple cracks in our foundation, added two drainage systems to the exterior of our house and even cleared out the original drainage pipes in our retaining wall. It was a lot of work and I couldn't be happier that we decided to go with General Waterproofing. We had several quotes from other companies, some much more expensive, but Josh was the only one that actually discovered WHY we had water in our crawlspace and created a plan to tackle that problem. Going with the company that wasn't just putting a bandaid on the situation and was reasonably priced was no-brainer. Also, a number of the other companies were really aggressive and fear-mongered- I did not get that feeling from General Waterproofing at all. They were very upfront about the issues and did not try to upsell me on unnecessary systems or upgrades. The crew was polite"

The group that did the labor was very polite. Everyone made sure our needs were taken care of in a timely and efficient manner. So far water proofing our basement seems to work, which is a huge relief to my husband and me. Nick went over and beyond his job description to ensure our needs were met. "The job these guys did on our floor could not have been better! They took an extremely difficult situation--a house sitting pretty much right on the dirt, with poorly constructed foundation beams--and left us with solid floors on newly framed in joists, center beams, and other creative reinforcements to our old, and poorly conceived foundation. On top of this they laid laminate, and in particular Joe Crane, Don’s best carpenter, applied his skill and high standards to meticulously install the flooring into off square corners and under trim work and fireplace mantles. I wish I could include pictures because words really can’t describe the incredible job they did. They really transformed the place. These guys are honest, hardworking--a pleasure to have in our home."
