"Mr Cotton sent a person to measure roof before submitting a bid. It was not the lowest bid, nor the highest but I felt it would be the most accurate. Mr John Cotton provided e-mailed photos of various shingle colors applied to my home, which made it easy to choose. Direct observation (from a 2nd story window of work on a porch) of the crew's application process matched the process in the manufacturer's specifications. Since I did not see sealant delivered or used I was very concerned about the nail holes around the vents, etc. Mr Cotton personally climbed the roof and took pictures of the vent and satellite dish to show me the sealant applied to the nail holes, etc. The weather was cold when the roof was applied so I was also concerned about the shingles sealing down. Mr Cotton assured me if problems arose he would be back to fix them. It turned warm the next few days and the high winds since have not created any problems. The original estimate did not have the Senior Discount/Angie's List discount applied. This was negotiated into the contract after discussion by extending the labor warranty in preference to the discount."

They showed up exactly when they said they would, were very polite, courteous, and professional.  The concrete cracked on the the first cute, but they cut a new spot a few inches over so that it would be aesthetically appealing...but, more importantly so that we would have any issues with leakage.  They cleaned up the mess VERY, VERY well.  I would highly recommend them and use them again. <br />"

"I called and left a message for South Roofing, requesting an estimate.  Within 48 hours, I received a call back and set a time to meet Rick South (owner) for an estimate and options for a replacement roof on my storage building.  He provided a detailed, written estimate via email with 24 hours of our meeting.   <br /> The cost of the solution he proposed was a bit more than I was hoping to have to spend, so I have not moved forward with any work as I'm gathering other bids and researching other solutions/options.  Nevertheless, I was grateful that Mr. South returned my call (as some roofing contractors haven't!) and followed up with a detailed written bid. <br />"
