"We worked with USA cabinet store to remodel our house rebuilt kitchen. We searched many cabinet store and decided to work with them. The owner and staff at this store are very knowledgeable, professional and caring. The price was much less than other stores without compromise on Quality of cabinets. Tony and Joseph listened to our demand very patiently, helped us design the kitchen better than we had imagined, were in touch with us every step of remodeling, provided excellent quality cabinets and turned our dream kitchen into reality. We are very happy with their services and would recommend them to anybody who is looking for their cabinets needs and related services"

"It was a little more expensive than we thought initially but at the end of the day we had added a lot of extras. We upgraded the granite (personal choice) Granite is granite but the upgraded was the color we wanted. They did demo and removal and plumbing of new faucets. Just remember when you do it it's probably going to be more than you anticipated. We are very pleased with the whole project. they were on time, prepared and easy to work with. I would definitely use them again."

"Exceptional! Still amazed that I have a brand new kitchen and bath for such an affordable price. Ed came out and gave me a quote which was lower than all other bids, yet included so much more. On day 1 the kitchen tile was not laid in the direction I had requested and Ed had them tear it out, pick up new tile from the warehouse and reinstall the next day! Very impressed with his integrity. Sandi coordinated all the crews very timely (Tile, Cabinet, & Granite). Only 3 weeks total! Have already referred to friends & neighbors."

"The Peraltas were fantastic. They remodeled one of our kitchen, living room, laundry room formal dinning room, installation of new kitchen cabinets and master bedroom. Sammy was extremely helpful throughout the process. They were clear in communicating the whole process and all the pieces necessary. They taped off and protected the whole path leading to all rooms and made sure nothing in the house was damaged. They went above and beyond to complete work that was beyond the scope of the original project and made sure the place looked immaculate after it was finished. The contractor was there on schedule every day and I saw consistent progress throughout. I would use them again in a heartbeat!"

"It went very nicely. It was so bitterly cold when they were scheduled to come and yet they came anyway and removed all the old ceramic tile from my kitchen, dining and living area and then removed all the carpet from the bedrooms and closets and then laid down new laminate and new quarter round throughout my entire house, closets and all.
I was staying at another location while the work was being done and they did a wonderful job with no supervision from me. Over a few months I noticed a couple of small areas that had settled some so I called and without question they came as soon as they could and worked so hard to make it perfect for me. I'm sorry but I don't remember the lead supervisor for that day but he was very conscientious and concerned for doing a great job.
I told them at the time that I would call when I was ready to remodel my kitchen and that's exactly what I'm doing now so I called to see if Levi's company could help me with this and he readily agreed and sent someone out for measurements right away. I'm very excited to get the work started after choosing the materials."

FAQs for cabinets refinish projects in Bay City, TX

To find the best cabinet refinishing expert for your project, start by researching local pros and reading reviews from previous customers. Reach out to a few contractors to discuss your cabinets' size, condition, and the look you're aiming for. Don't hesitate to ask for references or examples of their past work. Speaking with previous clients can give you valuable insights into the pro's workmanship and reliability.

When speaking with potential cabinet refinishing pros, consider asking them several questions to gauge their experience and professionalism. These questions can help you gauge the pro's experience and determine if they align with your needs.

 • Do you offer a guarantee on your work?

 • Can you create custom finishes or colors?

 • Do you have examples or samples of your past projects?

 • Are you able to match the finish to other cabinets in my home?

 • How long will the project take from start to finish?

Regular care will help maintain the beauty of your cabinets for years to come. To keep your refinished cabinets looking their best, follow these steps:

 • Use gentle cleaners: Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that can damage the finish. A simple mixture of warm water and mild dish soap works well.

 • Clean carefully: Instead of spraying solutions directly onto the cabinets, apply them to a soft microfiber cloth and wipe gently.

 • Protect from heat and moisture: Try to minimize exposure to excessive heat or moisture, which can affect the finish over time.

It's usually less costly to refinish cabinets than to replace them, depending on the cabinet condition. Refinishing cabinets cost an average of $3,114 while replacing cabinets is about $5,000 or more. When deciding to refinish or replace cabinets, consider several factors, including how old your cabinets are, your budget, and whether you need to complete any other renovation projects at the same time.

It may be worth resurfacing (also known as refacing) your cabinets if they’re in good shape but you’re interested in a different look. This is often less expensive than replacing cabinets outright and can allow you to update the look of your cabinets to reflect your kitchen’s current style without having to get rid of them entirely. The cost to reface cabinets is around $4,300 to $10,000, and you can hire a local cabinet refacing pro to handle this work.

Refinishing cabinets takes about two to three days to complete. The process begins with removing cabinet doors, drawers, and hardware, followed by cleaning, stripping, and sanding the surfaces. Any chips, stains, or splits are repaired before applying paint or stain. After applying the finish, the cabinets are reassembled, and the workspace is cleaned up, leaving your cabinets refreshed and renewed.
