"BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS Express Fencing was exemplary , from the owner, Jenk to the four installers , They went above and beyond in every capacity. I did my homework and got four estimates. Express fencing was competitive with other quotes but offered to do extras , like adapt the fence around my pool heater gas line, straighten out existing fence on one side of yard which was not being replaced , and also fix a gate. I felt that Jenk was honest with his quote right from the start which was not the case with others. The fence looks amazing, perfectly straight and level, which was not easy in my yard around the pool. The actual material of vinyl fencing looks to be of high quality and their workmanship was perfect. The installers, who were polite, prompt and professional worked from daylight to dark (had to put my outside lights on) to get the job done in one day so I would not be inconvenienced a second day. Jenk came by as they finished to make sure the install was perfect and personally put the caps on the posts, then helped to make sure the yard was completely clean. I cannot say enough about what a great job Express fencing did. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND HAVE DONE SO ALREADY ."

"Returned initial inquiry call promptly and agreed to meet with me in the evening since I work. Walked the property with me explaining to him what I needed/wanted done. Walter pointed out several large dead limbs on the perimeter of my yard that could stand to be removed. (I hadn't even looked for things like that. I just knew I wanted these messy & dying evergreens removed ASAP.) Walter initially quoted separately for the 2 large evergreens when I showed more work to be done he held back on prices till I was as all done with everything including some work on my adjoining property. His quote almost knocked me down. I've had 18 trees removed from these properties in the 30+ years so I was expecting a substantial price quote, never in my wildest dreams did I expect his quote to be so reasonable. Gave him a deposit check & set a date. Walter & his 2 men arrived as planned & started to unload all their tools & sheets of plywood to protected my sad parched front lawn, the 2 large tall evergreens were at the back of the property. Unfortunately for them this September Saturday was sunny, humid & in the low 90's. They worked about 4 hours & broke for maybe 20 minutes to have lunch but not before every downed branch or limb was chipped. They were here just under 7 hours I believe. Walter asked me to walk the 2 properties to double check that he had that taken care of all that I wanted done. This is the FIRST time I did not have to ask that the stumps be cut lower. The stumps were practically flush to the ground. Previously other contractors would tell me " that's as low as we can get" . I'm talked about 12-15"TALL. I'm so grateful these stumps are low, I'm by myself now & it takes longer to do things, going to coat the stumps with Brush killer today & in 2 weeks proceed with some sort of stump decaying process, hopefully by spring I remove them myself. BUT until then the 5 stumps in my very front side yard will not be noticable! Walter & his crew really seemed to know their business, they knew exactly which limbs to remove to let in more sunlight in too shady areas. I look forward to working with Walter & his crew again, hopefully this fall. I have about 60 trees on my personal home property, almoat all surrounding my backyard . A good portion need a lot of trimming."

"I'm particularly critical of anyone I pay to do a job and not get what I paid for. It's just rude, disrespectful and all those things. I believe in treating others as you would want to be treated. Ripping people off, in my humble opinion, is a form of abuse.
Of course, we're dealing with a business transaction here. Not a friend or relative helping me move my refrigerator to a relative's house. So you just don't know what you're gonna get. Isn't that why you're supposed to withhold payment until the job is done?
 Don't want to get into all the boring details, but there's a reason Central Jersey Removal's ratings are what they are: These guys earned them. Every last detail was attended to removing the refrigerator (including taking apart the door and drawers and the re-assembly) and delivering it to the requested destination and placing it in the house exactly where I wanted.

"I contracted with Paragon Remodeling Group/Safe Trust roofing for the installation of three security/storm doors, replacement of a gable vent and a minor masonry repair. The job was off to a slow start with multiple concerns involving the installation of the doors (life is never perfect and things don't always go as planned). "I cannot say enough good things about Scott fence! First, he arrived for an estimate as promised. He did get lost and I missed his call but he called several times until he got me & arrived promptly as soon as i explained where i was. He made recommendations based on the area we wanted to fence that were extremely helpful and showed his level of experience. The price he gave is was fantastic, considering he works with true PVC vinyl fencing (he beat out another fence company by atleast $500). We met with Scott Fence 2 more times after the initial consultation: the 2nd time, he was kind enough to give us time to speak to our neighbors about the upcoming installation, and even helped mediate minor debates about property line & fence placement. He was EXTREMELY helpful with this, which i had to mention because no fence company is responsible for making your neighbors feel ok with fence installation, but Scott Fence took this challenge without hesitation. The third time we met was to finalize the contract. He was able to install the fence 3 days later! His crew arrived as promised that Saturday morning, and worked throughout the day to finish the job. There was a tiny miscommunication: one neighbor already had 4ft pvc fencing and while we wanted to go with 5 ft, we told Scott Fence we wanted to match the neighbors' fence in height, but it was misunderstood as height and style (we installed plain solid & the neighbor has lattice topped fence). Initially I was going to give the go ahead to install but i later told Scott Fence that i wasnt crazy about the lattice fence and he said no worries, that he would order the correct fencing free of charge and install what i wanted. He is truly all about making his customers happy. There was even a small section of unfenced area in out back yard that was previously blocked with cinderblocks that he fenced for free! I also want to mention, he had no idea i found him on Angies list, not until the 2nd visit. I intentionally did not mention it because i like to see the true colors of service providers when they are not focused on getting a good review. There is more that we plan to fence in the future and we will not hesitate to contact Scott Fence. Glenn, the main contact, is wonderful. Cheerful, informative and definitely about his business.
