I received a free estimate within 48 hours of my inquiry and the written quote was drawn up and received a few hours after he left my home. Anthony is extremely professional. He listened to all of my ideas, and made some suggestions that actually saved me money. From beginning to end, the job was done without any problems. My kitchen remained functioning throughout the entire install. Every morning, he arrived promptly, laid out drop cloths before any work started and at the end of the day, the work area was completely cleaned up. This was the same routine for 2 weeks until the job was completed. I have recommended Anthony to 2 of my family members. "The individual that did the consult was very knowledgeable and helpful. The work took 8 days. I would highly recommend just buying new cabinets. The mess after the sanding and install was more than I expected. Some of the cabinets were left with debris and a considerable amount of dust in them, the shelves were not sanded on the ends where they were cut, leaving splinters and the sawdust was in the stove, dishwasher, cabinets that were covered and in the adjoining room. The craftsmanship turned out nice but noticeable that the edges were resurfaced. Itâ s hard to resurface cabinets that are old. The new doors cover the refacing. I feel the pricing is way to high for this type of project."

That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. "The original project targeted only the Kitchen with minimum lay out modification. We later added removal of a wall and closet, replacing the dining room floor and painting the is one and the living room. We requested 7 quotes in total since this was a major project. We decided to work with Remodeling concepts due mainly to: - Derek's professionalism, - a timely response during the quoting process. We made four modification to the original project changing design and scope of work, - a very competitive price, - solid references, - have insurance and be licensed. The job started on the agreed date, and run as scheduled. Derek's team follows his professionalism, and they demonstrated a high level of expertise. Demolition (walls, closet, cabinets, etc), cleaning, framing, sheet-rock & taping, tile and back-splash work, plumbing and gas work, cabinets installation, electrical work, appliance installation, and painting were top. "Overall, the quality of the craftmanship was good.  However, he needs to work on his painting skills.  I requested and emphasized the need for a pure white cabinet.  It was first spray painted in ivory, and then he rolled on white paint, but only one coat.  So you could see patches of ivory through the white paint.  I thought that painting this cabinet would be the easiest part of the job.  I requested that he repaint the cabinet inside and out after it was installed.  He did but did it quickly just to placate me.  Now I am left to repaint it myself so that I can be totally satisfied with the piece. "
