"Started one day late due to delay on a previous job, but took 4 days instead of the expected 5. Two highly skilled workers with a good sense of aesthetic layout worked tirelessly with minimal disruption to our lives, creating little or no mess. Even so, moving furniture from A to B and back to A was a big deal. The workers planned and measured well, so everything fits perfectly down to the last little detail. Sniffing glue for 4 days was an adventure (ha, ha). Jimmy Archer ( 501-676-1042 ) was the lead installer, took a lot of pride in his work; highly recommended. Enough product was ordered due to good estimation up front. Lead time from initial order to start of work was about 2 weeks."

"the carpet was clean where he did clean.....it was very disappointing. the bathroom was missed.  the coffee tables and sofas were not moved to clean underneath.  there was even a throw rug at an entry door to keep grass from getting tracked in, the carpet underneath was not cleaned.  carpet was wet, actually pulled up in places, thank goodness it dried back down.  no protection was placed under furniture to keep from touching the wet carpet.   I did not ask for the Angie's list discount, so I suppose this company did not realize a critique would be forthcoming.  the price was decent, but I would have paid more, to have a thorough, good job.  I will not call them back.  Sadly, this was my first time using an Angie's List recommendation, was hoping for a good experience.... I will not use again either. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"From our salesperson, Marc, to the installers, they were a joy to work with. Extremely prompt, kind, and had great ideas. Very responsive to all my questions. The installers were also on time or early both days they came, were so quick, and cleaned up completely after they were finished. The prices were fair, and I would definitely recommend them! <br />"

"The installation was professional and prompt after the carpet arrived from the mill. They had to address several challenges during installation but were able to address the issues. The most challenging and time consuming was carpeting the open stairs which took some time to complete but resulted in a very professional look. All this was included in the original quote."

"Our sales rep (Earl) convinced us to upgrade to the thickest pad and was worth every cent. The installers were punctual and cleaned up after themselves. Very pleased with our experience. <br />"

"Awesome experience. Lance helped us, without being pushy AT ALL, to find the right carpet and pad. He made recommendations and was fair and honest in doing so. When it came time to finalize price, Lance worked with me to get where we needed it to be. The installers, who work specifically for CD's, which I think is important, were also fantastic. They did run late, but they communicated very well and worked late and over the weekend to get it done. You can't see any seams, and the quality of the job was fantastic. Very professional and courteous. Can't recommend highly enough."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Beaver, AR

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
