"I cannot say enough good things about Add-a-Deck! We had them tear down an existing deck and build a new screened porch. We first met with Chris who was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable. He made sure to listen to everything we wanted and talked us through all of our different options. He then promptly followed up within the timeframe he said with a computer rendering of our new porch. He was very patient and timely with all of the changes we wanted to make, creating several different renderings so I could visualize the final product. They got started demoing a few short weeks after signing a contract, and the crew did a great job! They were friendly, polite, timely, and worked quickly but without skipping any corners. "We had our old deck torn down and replaced with a new PVC deck. We also replaced the front porch flooring with new pressure treated decking boards. We are extremely pleased with the end result of both. We got estimates from 4 companies and went with Classic Construction because we felt very comfortable and confident with them from the first meeting. The quote by Justin, the project manager, was very detailed. He met with us on multiple occasions and drew up several plans for us to choose from. He was always patient as we struggled with picking the design and colors and his recommendations were extremely helpful. He did a good job of laying out the design and explaining things so that there were no surprises during the building phase. He’s easy to work with and was very responsive to all questions and concerns. Once the job started, Chris and Mike arrived on time every day and worked extremely hard in 100 degree weather. They continued until the job was done and there was no bouncing back and forth between our job and someone else’s. They are very skilled and take great pride in their work. The quality of their work was excellent and we’ve gotten many compliments on the finished product. We couldn’t be more pleased with our new deck and front porch. "I purchased and had installed a sliding patio door from Skyline Windows. When I signed the contract (only $5.00 deposit) I was told installation would be 8-12 weeks. Eight weeks later, I was contacted for installation on December 2nd. Installation took about 5 hours and I paid the remainder of the contract price. While inspecting and checking over everything that had to do with the door and installation, I found a couple of things I was not exactly happy with (I’m in the engineering field and am fairly particular about such things). I figured that Skyline Windows would say that since they had my money that they would not bother with coming back to fix some minor things that I wasn’t happy with. I live just over an hour away from their office. I was pleasantly surprised to find how easy they were to deal with to try to make sure I was satisfied. They sent someone out to evaluate my concerns and said they would like to schedule a re-installation. We talked about my concerns and how to address them and we scheduled a re-installation. The re-installation went well and all my concerns were taken care of. I’m very happy with how the whole process went. I was not happy to have to have a re-installation, but I understand that sometimes errors are made. What separates the companies that really want to satisfy their customers versus companies that just want to make as much profit as possible is what’s demonstrated by Skyline Windows. I’d gladly recommend them as a good company to deal with and would use them again with no hesitation."

"<p>They did a decent job overall they didn't measure the windows correctly a first, wanted to charge me for the fill in pieces, I had to complaint. Then they came and redid the windows. There is a couple of cracks in the windows, I had to re-cement small areas, but overall they were ok. Problems started when the lock they provided for the sliding door broke. Apparently, you can't get this lock anywhere but them, it is their proprietary lock! We went to home depot, local locksmith, nobody has any idea about this lock. I called the company and told the guy that a little spring in the mechanism broke. He had no idea what I was talking about, talked about the truck that was going to deliver parts. I gave him my number, told him that I would like to lock my porch. Didn't get a call for two days. Then I called the corporate number, which is provided on the part page, but the girl had no idea. Now its on my second week nobody called me, I'll have to change the lock completely.</p> <p>These people only want to take your money initially, but really don't want to service their products. There is no parts, no technical service, nothing. If I knew, I would make them put the generic lock that I can buy parts for. </p> <p>It is obnoxious to make your own product, that you wouldn't be able to go to anyone else and not service it.</p> <p>I will never buy from them again.</p> <p><br></p>"

"<br />    1.  If you are looking for a contractor that is honest, actually cares about the quality of work he delivers to his clients--then <br /> look no further!   Working with Steve Edwards (owner of Power House Remodeling) and his team was such an easy experience. They listened to our needs and delivered a product that far exceeded our expectations.  Steve came out  at least 4 times to go over plans and make any changes that we discussed.  Steve's suggestions were invaluable to our finished product.    <br />     2.  Our lead carpenter for our project was Greg Stabler.
