It all started with a trip to the Azores of Portugal. RTA's co-founder went there to meet his wife's family… And had his first encounter with an outdoor kitchen. The charm of that kitchen went far beyond providing meals. It served as an inviting gathering space, and offered moments to break bread together.\n\nThe inspiration from that outdoor kitchen was bottled up and shipped back to the US. Unfortunately, there was a lack of accessible options in America in the early 2010's. Someone needed to rethink the conventional approach of construction. Thus began the journey, with a goal of remastering the outdoor kitchen.

They saw the yard was wet, but they didn't know if it was just from all the rain, but he blew it out and he said that if there are issues with it in the spring or if we need to turn it back on, we'll call them and they'll come back."

"Installation was done by members of the family who own the company, no sub-contractors. The father has years of hands-on experience in stone masonry and is a true craftsman. His son is both the salesperson and one of the workers. The work was done perfectly with correct walkway pitch for water removal. The price was truly wonderful. I got 3 bids. This company had the lowest bid and was $2,500 lower than the highest bidder for the same job. I had specified to each bidder exactly the kind of paver I wished and the kind of foundation I wanted (depth of sand, gravel, etc.) You can't beat best price and true craftsman workmanship."
