"These workers were so professional it was a joy having Antonio, Willie and Alejandro here. They came prepared with a trailer and their gear. They even had their own port-a-potty!! Clean cut, hard working, worked their butts off with smiles on their faces. These fellows worked from the time they got here until it was time to leave AND they cleaned up after themselves EACH DAY leaving the yard looking pristine. As bad as it was finding out I had a river running through my attic and a ceiling coming down in a bedroom due to this leak, necessitating a new roof (Raindrop DID NOT install the old roof!), I was actually sorry to see them go. "I located JLV Construction on Angies List while looking for a local roofer. They were highly rated on Angies list with many positive reviews and I wanted to use a local business. I sent a request for them to provide me with a quote to tear off my existing roof and install a new roof. Within 1 hour I was contacted by one of their employees who scheduled a time and date to provide me with an estimate. Asael showed right on time and spoke with me regarding the work that I wanted done, he inspected my roof and told me he would email me a quote providing the cost including all of the work and materials they would provide. A few hours later I had that quote. I also contacted two other local roofing companies so I could get some competitive bids. One company took 2 days to respond and the other took 3 days. Not a great start. The next couple of days I went over the quotes and compared cost to service on all. During this time I emailed and called Asael several times with questions and each time he responded quickly and he answered all of my questions. I contracted with JLV Construction because of great reviews, a local company, competitive price and they were the one company that acted in a manner that said we value you and your business. Asael called and told me the crew would be at my house early Tuesday morning, the crew showed up when they were scheduled to and went right to work. After the first day they had stripped the existing roof off, replaced the sheets of plywood that were bad and installed the new underlayment. Day 2 came and the crew showed up bright and early and went to work. By the end of day 2 my new roof was installed, my yard was completely cleaned and anything they had moved out of their way had been put back. Very rarely these days do I feel that a company over delivers on their promise but in this case they did. From the initial contact to the final inspection everything was handled professionally, they were there when they said they would be and the new roof looks great. Many thanks for a great experience. "I was initially planning on an addition to my 10 yr old house. As the existing attic space was evaluated, the contractor found that I actually had a hole in my roof and the initial roofing work had been subpar. The defects were explained and I could see I really needed a whole new roof. I was given choices of shingles and learned about a new product that helps to prevent moss growth on the roof. The roofers worked together and very efficiently. Also the work was done with care as to not damage my gardens. They cleaned the area up nicely at the end of the day. My neighbor noticed my roof and asked if my contractor would evaluate his roof. The contractor did so that day. He also had his roof replaced right after mine. So nice we received our new roofs right before the fall through spring rain started. "I am 100% satisfied with the roof and gutter work done by Roof Tek. Jamie gave me a competitive, knowledgeable quote, and he provided insurance and license documents at our first meeting. His roofing crew is obviously very experienced; they completed the entire job in only a few days, and they left the job site immaculately clean. I inspected their work when they were finished and it was absolutely perfect. The new gutter system is solid and it looks great, and the new shingles and flashing are flawless.
