"Scope of project: 1) reset/regrade pavers stones in front walkway and back patio area that were displaced by new driveway and trenches, 2) install drain in low spot connecting to an existing drain, 3) demo a platform of pavers next to the garage to make even with the rest of the patio. I had a wonderful experience hiring Jose with Luna Masonry from beginning to end. I chose him over other bids because he seemed very knowledgeable, easy to communicate with, and well versed in the scope of my project. His estimate also seemed like a fair fee. Jose and crew were able to schedule right away and completed my project in a timely fashion. The end result was very impressive and they cleaned up the work area well. "Using a combination of river rock, lava rock, and gravel, David designed a space that looks amazing and will serve us well for years to come. David was also flexible with the design and kept the backyard from looking like just a quarry with thoughtful placement of the lava rock in decorative shapes. They took an overgrown, unmaintained backyard that was never used and turned it into a really lovely hardscaped area that we use all the time. "My wife and I hired Forest Landscape to remove our old rotted pressure treated retaining wall by our Koi pond and replace with natural black basalt rock. They also removed our wood raised garden walls and replaced with paver stone with a top cap. They also removed our badly installed basalt rock pathway that was loose and lifting up. The rock pathway was installed only three years ago by Cornerstone Hardscapes. Forest Landscapes installed a stamped concrete pathway where the basalt rock pathway was removed Jose and Rigo Castaneda were very professional to work with and there crew were real craftsman with attention to detail. They showed up on time and worked even on Saturday to finish project on time. We will hire them again for any future projects."
