"We are so thrilled that we chose Joe and Jonathan from Home Pro Services for such a major home construction project! We had TWO bathrooms that were circa 1980s in our home and BOTH needed a gutting renovation. We had solicited several quotes, but Joe and Jonathan of Home Pro Services came as a personal recommendation from a friend, and we had already seen the beautiful work they had done. Home Pro's prices seemed lower/in line with market prices. We needed gutting of the existing spaces, some revision of electrical and plumbing, installation of walls, ceiling, floors, fans, tile work, fixtures. Joe made himself incredibly available. He is pleasant to work with. He is very responsive! He is highly attentive to details. He dispelled all of our myths of "the absent contractor". Instead, he updated us regularly with progress, by email and text, and we saw him nearly daily. Through these communications he helped us make intelligent decisions about the project. We appreciated his knowledge and level of care. He often had more than one solution or suggestions for a single problem, and let us talk things over with him before making a decision. As expected there were some unforeseen construction issues having to do with water damage etc. we faced along the way, but Joe helped us address these in a fair and equitable way. We also appreciated, given the timing of our project which was during the COVID outbreak, that he did not bring large teams of people into our home. The plumbers, electricians and painters he referred for our project were also highly qualified and respectful. The quality of Home Pro services by far exceeded our expectations! As my husband said early on, "Joe is an artisan". There was nothing we would change about our project. We can't wait to hire Joe and Home Pro Services again!"

"It is very rare to come across a reliable and professional builder. I had the great fortune of contracting with WS Builders for rebuilding the porches on my home. Everything was a pleasant surprise. Wladimir Simoes was responsive, listened to everything that was said, and returned rapidly with a proposal. He also presented his insurance certificates, license, and other documents required by the city of Boston in a timely manner. The work began on the day that was promised, and every step along the way was well communicated. I was always able to reach Wladimir for questions and discussions. "We hired Crystal Painting to repaint the exterior of our 1929 Dutch Colonial. The home hadn’t been repainted in 9 years and had significant peeling and exposed wood and therefore was also in need of some carpentry work. We hired Leo and his crew from Crystal based on reading other reviews on various sites, meeting him in person (many firms just look at your house online and provide a quote or do a quick stop and go without talking to you), and based on his willingness to give us a quote that included both the painting and carpentry work (most other painters were unwilling to quote the carpentry until they were on the job). The pricing quote was a bit higher than other quotes but based on the reviews we read and the quality of the conversations, we decided to take a chance on Leo and Crystal painting and weren’t disappointed. Leo’s crew showed up daily (in varying numbers depending on what needed to be done) over a two week period, did a good job of prepping the house, getting it primed, fixing the carpentry and applying two coats of paint. Some of the carpentry involved replacing rotted moldings along the roof line that likely had been on the house since it was built in 1929, amazingly he was able to find matching pieces to replace the damaged pieces. In addition, there were several color and other changes made along the way and Leo was great at accommodating those at no additional cost. Overall, we were very happy with Leo and Crystal painting and would hire them again. Several of our neighbors who saw their work, have since hired them as well."
