"The person performing the service had to make several trips because one of the "new" parts turned out to be faulty. I found both Complete Protection and their local repair contractor to be both very responsive and totally professional at every stage of the repair process."

"Repairman showed up about 90 minutes early which was great because they called first to make sure it was ok.  He checked the thermostat as well as the air conditioner.  He found out the issue quickly and resolved it quickly.  He then provided a routine service/maintenance check.  I feel he was honest and that the price was good.  I also want to,add that the repairman was very polite and respectable. <br>"

"The whole process could not have been any easier. I called, told them what I wanted, listened to the options, and then asked for quotes for two options: exhaust on the side of the house or exhaust through the attic. I decided to go with the exhaust pipe on the side of the house. Once I sent the signed quote back, I had my installation planned for just a few days later. The entire installation process took only about 2 hours from when the technician arrived until he finished, cleaned up, and explained the details of my new system to me. He installed it in the utility area of my basement, back with the sump pump, furnace, and all of that, so I don't even notice it. My radon levels were only on the edge of needing to be addressed, but I didn't want to take a chance that the levels would increase since the house is fairly new. Within two days the levels went from 3.8 to 0.8 pCi/l, and we can use the basement without worrying about any long-term effects. These guys know their stuff, and they do top-quality work in a timely manner."

"Very prompt and gave detailed information about work that was going to be performed. A salesman was let go so I had to make several calls before I found his replacement to get the second part of my job completed. They left a pretty big mess at my home as well as denting my water heater. They did a good job but I think someone should follow up to make sure the customer is satisfied and all of the work was performed correctly."

"The contractor removed one tank containing filtering media the added a larger one with a media that was sufficient for the iron content that had to be removed.  He further adjusted the system and corrected the water flow and backwash cycle.   Other tanks were cleaned along with the flow valve for proper functioning. The contractor was in and out in four hours using two workers that were both polite and competent. Everything was cleaned up and was left in better shape than when they arrived. From the time they put the new system on line our water has been perfect.  We are so happy after several contractors worked on our system for 10 years and none of them has gotten it right. <br /> WE RECOMMEND THIS CONTRACTOR TO ANYONE WITH BAD DRINKING WATER!"

"The new sump pump is working and standing water in the crawl space has not been an issue since.  Though there was a seven week lead time from the contract signing, work on the project was executed quickly in little under two days.  In general, they were helpful and responsive to questions about the proposed work, and we would recommend working with them again. <br> <br> <br>"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Beech-grove, KY

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
