"Outstanding! Very good at helping me understand the foundation problems and scope of the job. Gave me a detailed bid that was in plain English so that I could understand and ask questions. The work was begun and done in the time frame stated and finished on time. The best bid for price (and I did seek other bids), and also a 20 year warranty. My husband, who understands these kinds of projects but was out of town, became available after the project was about half done and was very pleased with the work. Thus, having undertaken this necessary project myself, it turn out that I picked the best of the best to carry it out despite my lack of experience which was made up for by the Renew Basement Foundation professionals' education that they provided as I searched for a reliable contractor. Absolute integrity in every respect. From my stand point as a novice home foundation repair customer I felt confident, and from my husband's stand point where he did understand the scope of the project, all work was flawless. I absolutely recommend Renew and if I would ever need such service again, they are the only people I would consider. Also important to note, Renew noticed other problems that I had not identified, and they helped me to solve, such as a problem with the chimney. They knew someone who could fix it and did not charge extra for that work. It was as though they were looking after my best interest without my asking or in this case without my realizing the need. Again, when my husband arrived after the work was underway, he was completely impressed with the great care and attention to detail since he was aware of the chimney problem (although I wasn't). I don't think you will find a better contractor anywhere."

"ErieHome waterproofed my basement. The crew was polite, kind, and came in, did an excellent job in 3 days by digging a trench on the inside of the basement, removing the dirt from the bottom of the foundation, installed corrugated tubing, rock and then cement. They also installed a Humidex airpurifier and new sump pump with a backup pump. They cleaned up afterward. Any questions I had were answered in a respectful manor. I now have peace of mind knowing that I no longer have to monitor weather forecasts for rain or have to clean up anymore incoming water. The system is warranted for the life of the house and included within the price, which increased the value of my home."

"First, I would like to say your crew was nice to work with. We have not had enough rain to see if the job was a success or not. I would like to say that we were disappointed in the installation of the egress window well, but after your crew came back out and repaired it, it looks good. We were not happy that your crew did not say anything about the damage that was done to the rain gutter and soffit. I do not think they would have said anything if I would not have seen it and said something. When your crew came back to repair the egress window well, they told me they would go get some paint and paint it. That was not done, and that would not have fixed the gutter and soffit that is only a year old. Now to the inside, we think your crew did a good job installing the drain tile, removing the debris, and cleaning things up, however, we are not happy with the way the concrete was put back in. It is not smooth, there are stones showing, and we think we could have done a better job. When your crew came back out to repair the egress window well, they said they could grind off the high spots, but I told them not to bother because it will still look like a kid did the job."

"We removed the wood paneling in the basement shortly after moving in.  That's when we noticed 13 cracks in the foundation.  None of them structural issues.  They came in and repaired all of them in one day.  A couple of them were difficult to get to due to stairs and piping, but they did a great job on all of them.

"Rob Bergman was very responsive and very thorough in his analysis. He inspected the areas of concern related to our seepage and his area of expertise. After finding that the grading around the foundation was likely not the problem, he looked at other possible areas of concern and suggested other options. We are taking his advice and calling other contractors. If we were to need any of his services that he could provide in the future, we would definitely give Mastorwork at call."

"I have a block basement with 2 blocks in the first course showing signs of moisture seepage. I had multiple contractors assess the problem and all came up with basically the same root cause. Russ at Certified Foundations took the time to walk me through the problem (including the impact of my sump crock and the Palmer valve in my floor drain). He reviewed other contractors' plans and pointed out the waste (and extra cost) their plan offered. It made sense to me and during the work Russ drilled extra weep holes at the right angle of drain tile other contractors wanted to excavate and the blocks were bone dry, indicating to me that work would truly have been unnecessary (the right angle was along an interior wall of the basement; crawl space was on the other side). Russ was punctual for both the estimate appointment and for the day the work was performed. He was great in his communication. He even offered to do some exterior minor tuckpointing unrelated to this repair because he thought it should be done--at no extra cost. He did this job at SUBSTANTIALLY lower cost than any other contractor. Time will tell if this repair fixed my problem, but I believe it will. The exposed drain tile and weep holes looked exactly as he expected. I think Russ knows this industry very well and is more than fair and professional. "It was written up to be chimney and foundation check.  I wasn't home when he arrived, my husband was, and no foundation inspection took place.  He had a couple of good tips, but not very detailed or in depth.

"We had some warranty work done by Everdry Waterproofing on a leak in the foundation of our basement. Another year has passed and even with all the melting snow and rain that we have had, we still have not had any leaks or problems with the repair of the foundation or any other place in the basement. They did a great job on the repair and the warranty that they offer on their work is well worth it."

"They work was done exactly when they said they would do it, at the exact price they quoted.The results were very good. I would be willing to use their service again if sections of concrete needs to be leveled. I feel comfortable recommending them to friends and relatives."

"He started the job when promised. However, when he arrived to get the contract signed there was a mysterious extra $1,000 on the bottom line over what he told me on the phone. He made the correction. Overall promptness and showing up on days promised was not good. Job should have been 4 days but he was here for over 2 weeks off and on. The place was a complete mess for the two weeks. They did clean up every night but the dust was terrible. Close the garage doors! Hired a temp mason for one day and his work was not good. They had to redo some of that work.
Had to charge extra for removing some of the concrete stoop because it was twice as thick as he expected. I think he should have noticed that before the job started. Had to convince him to change some of the details of the job that my wife and I did not feel were going well. He changed it to the way we wanted after some convincing. His right hand man typically agreed with our opinion and not his. They argued a lot.
The overall stone work looks great. Have had many complements. Had a small amount of tuck-pointing that needed to be done after a front door was installed. He stood me up on our first appointment. That was 3 weeks ago and I can't reach him now. Guess I will have to call someone else - should have held off on some of the final payment!
Certainly could use some organizing and professionalism. Would not use again.
