"When we moved into this house, there were a couple of things that needed changed. Our placement of a freezer in the utility room made a motion detecting switch incapable of work. Fortunately, there was already a location for the second switch to that area, and John basically relocated the motion Switch to that location. While working on this, we discussed the need for a whole house surge protection ( frequent power outages in Delaware county seems to be a known issue) - John took care of this with another visit and at a very reasonable rate. Mr. John Sherlock arrived at the time and date specified to give us an estimate.  He returned the following day with his assistant and performed the job in one day.  He installed 26 copper lightning rods on the flat roof of our 7,000 square foot home.  These rods were connected with 500 feet of heavy duty copper cable and were grounded at three points with ground rods going down through the drainpipes into the ground. All parts of the system were securely attached to the roof.  He did a neat job and cleaned up all excess materials.  We were very pleased with the job him did.  Since installation of the lightning rod system we have had no trouble with lightning striking the house or causing power outages or surges.
