"They were punctual and each crew took care in their job. There were 3 crews: roof, trim & gutters. Full roof replacement with underlayment replaced, 2 new skylights, new trim, fascia, soffit and gutters. Each crew cleaned up nicely and the roof crew used a magnetic tool to collect any stray nails on the ground. Total time 3 days. Prior to install they were great communicators, called to confirm every appointment. And best is if you call them with a question you get a person! Not just a person but a considerate person. Only had the roof a few days now, but today was the first heavy rainfall and guess what? No leaks! Highly recommend them for a roof replacement. They were more costly than others we interviewed, BUT they had better products, offered more for air flow and overall had the best presentation and left the best printed brochures. Again, highly recommend. If there are any future leaks I'll update this but today was a good test. I'm no longer fearful for any sorts to come."

"Lee is excellent. Sorry this review is so late. Have not been on Angie's list in several months. He arrived several minutes early. He is friendly and professional. Gets the job done in a timely manner for a reasonable price. This is my first time in a home with a fireplace(just move in a couple of months prior to fireplace inspection). Everything checked out ok. We only needed to purchase a cap before we could use fireplace. Lee was very helpful with advise on how to use and what to burn. Will definitely use him again. Thanks, Lee. "It all went very well. They were extremely knowledgeable, knew exactly what had to be done. This job was done in the fall of 2012. The following spring, there were some areas that did not grow. I called and they sent someone out right away to assess the problem. They sent a crew out right away to redo the areas that didn't grow. They did not charge any additional fees. They went above and beyond to make things right and to make sure I was completely satisfied. I would recommend them for any job that they are able to do, whether it be lawn care or remodeling, or windows. They are a very reputable business and I trust them. Their prices were far less than than the other 6 or so that I received quotes on.

"I can't speak more highly of my experience with HCI and Alvin Ashley in particular. Being a military veteran I felt an immediate camaraderie with Alvin who himself is a veteran. As part of quoting the job he walked my wife and I through the entire process start to finish. He covered in detail what would happen at every step of the process including what materials would be used and why they were the right choice. Though he quotes jobs now, his experience as a roofer clearly showed as he easily fielded the dozen or so questions that I had. I live in a historic home in Farmington. Around town it is commonly referred to as the “Lone Ranger House” as Earle Graser (the radio show Lone Ranger) lived in it during the 1930s. It was clear to me after spending some time with Alvin that he appreciated the historical significance of my home and was committed to ensuring it's preservation. Being an engineer and having some roofing experience in my past I already had a detailed cost breakdown completed when Alvin arrived to quote the job. Alvin did not employ any of the normal salesmen BS like starting at twice the real price or pretending to call his boss to bring the price down. His starting number was extremely reasonable and very close to my estimate. After some very brief negotiations I singed a contract to have the work done that very evening. I have several out buildings on my property and have every intention of calling Alvin back when it is time to replace those roofs."
