I also wish he had used replacement boards on the deck that more closely matched the remainder of the boards, even if they weren't pretreated. The biggest problem was that he got an idea on how to resolve a problem that was more than what I wanted, and I wasn't able to get him to dial back what he did. The contractor's suggestion to put the previous fence's replacement on top of the wall was also very positive. The new wall and fence are much more attractive and stable than the previous. (A minor point: some of the debris from the previous wall was not removed.)"
