"Our family has worked with Robert and his team multiple times since the 90s. From the first renovation in 1994, to a 2019 addition/extension to the same home, to recent work preparing to sell our rental property, Robert has been our go-to guy. His work is outstanding. His crew is hard-working, respectful, and responsible (and just really fun guys to be around!) He approaches everything with such pride, and he provides outstanding guidance all the way through. It's like working with family - Robert has really become part of ours all these years!"

"My husband and I wanted a complete remodel of our home, so we hired Brianna to come up with the design and oversee the construction. We met with Brianna in our home and told her exactly what we wanted to do and how we wanted to "feel" in our home. In just a couple weeks time, she put together a 3d model of our entire home. She presented it to us through a 3d walk through. We could not believe what she had come up with! We were thrilled beyond words !! She listened to everything we had told her yet went above and beyond what we could have envisioned or even imagine coming up with! Brianna worked with us throughout the entire process of picking out the perfect design fixtures, materials and finishes, all while tracking our budget and overseeing the construction. She didn't miss a single detail, which was such a great relief for us. Brianna is a wonderful person and has so much passion for what she does. We trusted her every step of the way and knew we could depend on her. We highly recommend Brianna for any design-build project! You will not regret it !!"

"They lied more than once. They stole money. They failed to give proper installation. They damaged my home. They caused more damage to our lives. We paid more than $14,000 for a new hvac and even signed up for their monthly membership. All of this was to make sure if something happened we would be taken care of, or so we were told. They did not properly level the new hvac. The system did not trip to prevent an overflow. It dumped water and damaged our home. They even tried to get us to pay for coming out to fix the mistake. They have refused to pay for anything and will not talk to our insurance. Now, becasue they will not admit their fault and make amends, we could lose our home insurance or have to pay more. DO NOT USE THEM"

FAQs for basement remodeling projects in Belton, TX

Finishing a basement turns unused square footage into livable space and returns up to 70% of what you spend when you sell your home. Beyond that resale boost, you gain a playroom, home office, or guest suite you can start enjoying right away. That mix of daily comfort and solid return on investment (ROI) makes basement finishing one of the smartest upgrades you can tackle.

In some parts of the country—especially lots on swamps, high water tables, or other wetlands—local codes prohibit basements. Saturated soil puts constant pressure on foundation walls and lets water seep in faster than any sump pump can handle.

If your property sits on waterlogged ground, building on a slab or crawl space is often safer, more affordable, and code-compliant.

Most basements wrap up in four to eight weeks. Framing takes three to five days, with electrical and plumbing rough-ins following over the next week. Add five days for drywall, two to three for flooring, and another week for paint, trim, and punch-list items.

Delays can happen if materials run late or your contractor’s calendar is packed, so build in a little cushion when you plan.

Whether a finished basement counts toward your home’s official square footage depends on local rules. Many areas only include below-grade space if it has code-approved egress, fully finished walls, ceilings, and floors, plus consistent heating.

Check with your local assessor or building department before you start; meeting those standards can affect taxes, appraisals, and resale value.

Building codes require a checklist: dedicated heat and electrical service, a code-approved stairway, and at least one egress window or exterior door. Walls, ceilings, and floors must be fully finished and meet insulation, ventilation, and fire-separation standards. If you add a bedroom, you’ll also need a closet, proper clearances, and safe exits. If you change the layout later, be ready to update the space so every new room still meets today’s code.
