"Elsy ( I believe she was the plumber from your company via Angi) arrived as scheduled, on Saturday, 09/28/2024. She attempted to repair my garbage disposal unit but was unable to do so as the unit's wiring was worn out. I advised the unit is 40 yrs old. She recommended to purchase a new one. We made a trip together to the local Home Depot store and I purchased the same brand s she recommended. She installed it in record time (within the 2.5 hrs) and completed the job. She also cleaned the work space and carried the old one to my recycling bin. Very satisfied with her work. Also, I want to know if I will receive a billing statement for my records? "I got bids from a *large* number of installers and Red Mountain gave me the best equipment for the price and did a nice job of it despite a few early teething problems that were resolved quickly and competently. But note that the going price in this area for heat pumps is significantly higher than in other areas of the country - regardless of which installer I let bid on my home. In my opinion, given energy price trends, the environmental impact of heating with gas, and having existing solar power on my home, the benefits of a heat pump outweighs the high price in this area, but YMMV. Think thru your position re: BayREN rebates and the recent federal Inflation Reduction Act rebates carefully to make sure you qualify."
