Six months later I had a full addition ( in law apartment) full basement with high ceilings, and tge main house is stunning! It doesn’t feel like an in-law apartment, cathedral ceiling, giant bathroom, all the comforts of home Adam was quick to respond to all my concerns, he always answered his phone and if I didn’t like something he was quick to fix it. "My project was to add a porch to the front of my antique house. I quoted the job out to 3 builders and found the prices all to be similar. Although Fiske Construction was very slightly higher I was impressed with the professionalism of the quote and Mike�s understanding of what I was looking for. I showed him a couple of pictures of the style I wanted and he immediately picked up the details that gave the look I wanted. Mike arranged for the permits and began work as soon as they were set. Mike�s work ethic is far better than many these days, he showed up early and worked hard all day, every day. I never felt that my job wasn�t his top priority. I added a couple of features during the construction , Mike gave me a very fair price on the additional work and arranged for the materials required. Mike is more than just a builder, he is a Craftsman. The fit, finish, and quality of the porch is top notch. I have had neighbors and strangers compliment me on what a beautiful porch and how it looks like it has always been there. It�s not an easy task to add to a house built in the early 1800�s and match the quality of workmanship and style for that period but Mike and his team nailed it, I could not be happier or ask for a single change for the entire project. "For our home addition/renovation we are very grateful to have found Richard Connolly and his site iCornerstone. Our vision was a Two-story + basement + livable attic space home addition which would provide significant practical square footage to our existing house and integrate seamlessly with it. We interviewed a number of general contractors but we were overall a bit uncomfortable after the interviews due to gaps in transparency regarding how costs were calculated and how timelines were established, resulting in some lack of confidence. We happened upon Richard’s iCornerstone site via Angies. Richard provided an extremely transparent and detailed description of his unique and practical process, which delivered a set of superb designs along with a truly logical, transparent, and honest listing of costs, both materials and labor, at all stages, and how those costs were derived.
