"We recently hired Archadeck to remove our old deck and patio, and replace them with new ones. We could not be happier with how the new space turned out! The deck and patio are both gorgeous and seem rock solid. We recently had an unrelated contractor over, who (unprompted) remarked how impressed he was at how level they were able to make the patio - that he usually doesn't see such good work. The things I appreciated most were: 1) The thoughtful planning phase of the project, and consideration of what we were looking for. They really wanted to make sure we were picking out exactly what was best for us, both design and material 2) Good communication and project management once the work started 3) Flexibility with minor changes (per our request) once the project was already underway 4) Rapid response and remedy when something unplanned happened Although we don't expect we'll need a new deck or patio anytime soon, if we ever did find ourselves in such a position, we would use Archadeck again without a second thought."

"I can?t begin to convey how delighted we are with the project just completed by <br />  Wayne St. Germain and his crew. What was a dilapidated  shed-like porch appended <br /> to our colonial-erafarm house is now a wonderfully airy, stable  <br /> combination sun room and workshop with shiplap walls and ceiling, <br /> recessed lighting and  a vintage wood <br /> stove.  It is now the most inviting and <br /> comfortable room in the house, as well as a serviceable work shop. <br /> Without getting too tangled in the details of the architectural <br /> hurdles we were faced with, let me just say that the existing porch had no foundation <br /> (none); the rear of the actual house was slowly collapsing; there was a <br /> beautiful maple tree we wanted to save at all cost, whose root structure was <br /> hopelessly tangled among the approximately  <br /> 10 million rocks that had to be excavated  from under the porch in order to properly <br /> support the new structure. <br /> Wayne and crew addressed each of these hurdles with aplomb <br /> and came up with creative solutions or alternatives at each step, even helping <br /> to resettle a family of foxes who had turned a bit of crawl space into a <br /> nursery. <br /> As for disruption during the construction, there was <br /> practically none. He and his crew arrived promptly, kept the place tidy and <br /> offered plenty of options along the way. When in doubt, I learned to just go <br /> with his suggestions. He has a good feel for what will look appropriate and <br /> attractive. His subcontractors are all top-notch tradesmen. <br /> The finished product wasn?t exactly what we had envisioned <br /> when we started. It?s better.  A bit more <br /> expensive, yes. "I contacted five different contractors and only three were willing to come to do the estimate. Among the three contractors who came, one never gave me the estimate despite repeated emails and messages, and the second contractor who came reluctantly gave me an estimate that was so ridiculously inflated that we simply could not afford it. Randy was the only contractor who was responsive and professional, and was very honest with his estimate and most importantly willing to work with us to make our budget to work for our project. The project went well, although it started later than all of us expected due to scheduling issue, but the entire project was completed pretty much on-time still. Randy is a very talented plumber, he was able to somehow connect the plumbing in our tiny new bathroom with very little space to work with. The team did a great job for tiling the bathroom floors, both bathrooms look great. I still do not know how they managed to put the new bath tub and shower unit in so perfectly in the tight spaces, I am just glad that they are good at it. They also gave us good ideas how to maximize our limited space, for example by installing a recessed mirror/medicine cabinet. We now have two tidy and functioning full baths that look great, thanks to the HomePros Construction Team."
