Small jobs welcome

"I recently had new cabinets installed, and I couldn't be happier with the results! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and professional. The quality of the craftsmanship is outstanding — sturdy construction, flawless finishes, and beautiful design that fits perfectly with the style of my home. The installation team was punctual, respectful, and incredibly detail-oriented. They took the time to ensure everything was level, aligned, and spotless before they left. Communication throughout the process was clear and timely, and any questions I had were answered thoroughly. Worth every penny!!!"

Super Service Award Winner

"Rick was awesome to work with. In the world of contractors, they normally don't communicate well. Rick greatly surprised me with how responsive he was via texting. He is a friendly guy to work with in person and he did an excellent job at doing my baseboards throughout my entire house. He kept things tidy and cleaned up everything after he departed."

"

Trevor was part of the team when we were finishing a kitchen remodel in 2014.  At that time we had him open a space in a wall for a future cabinet, but not cut through the wall until we knew what we wanted.  We figured out what would work best and asked him to finish the wall cut-out and smooth the sides so the new cabinet will fit.  While Trevor cut the drywall, his helper vacuumed up all the dust.  They also moved a storage unit to another room.  Trevor also answered some questions I had about a problem outside.

They were done with everything within 40 min and no dust or drywall fragments remained.  I'm sure he will return to help with some other job in the future.

"Our old house has suffered through several additions and consequently walls and floors are not level or plumb. The Rossbach team did an outstanding job of understanding what we wanted and the quality of their work is second to none! They also had no problem letting us do some of the work, like the demo and the wall finishing. We would definitely use them again!"

"Everything went well. This is the third time we've used Brian and our second bathroom project. Brian picked up the tile we selected and also suggested some options on installation styles to work with the space. He was very flexible to accommodate this smaller project in addition to his other jobs even when our schedule changed. He is not only punctual but completely accurate with the estimated time to completion as well as flexibility around other contractors. The work itself is excellent and the layout of the tiles in related to the space, the beveled cuts and the finished result were great. He's really personable as well. In the past, when we've replaced fixtures and doors, he's also been able to add to the original work without a problem. We will definitely be using him again."

FAQs for baseboard installation projects in Bethel, MN

Installing crown molding can be challenging, depending on the material and your skill level. Lightweight materials like polystyrene and softwoods are easier for homeowners to install themselves, offering a cost-saving option. However, heavier materials like hardwoods and plaster are difficult to work with and require professional installation to achieve a high-quality result. Precision is crucial in measuring, cutting, and fitting crown molding, so hiring a professional ensures the best outcome.

Crown molding is available at various price points, ranging from $1 to $30 per linear foot, depending on the material. This wide range offers options for every budget. Affordable materials like MDF, PVC, and polystyrene provide cost-effective solutions, while premium materials like exotic hardwoods or metal offer a luxurious appearance at a higher cost. Regardless of your budget, you can find crown molding that enhances your home's aesthetic.

Crown molding is installed by professional finish carpenters or painters who specialize in detailed trim work. These experts possess the necessary skills and tools to ensure precise measurements, accurate cuts, and seamless installation. By hiring a professional, you can achieve a flawless finish that enhances your home's aesthetic appeal without the risk of common DIY mistakes.

Crown molding can be installed in various areas of your house to add elegance and architectural interest. It is commonly used where walls meet the ceiling, but you can also place crown molding around doors, windows, mirrors, and atop cabinets. Installing crown molding in these locations enhances visual appeal, creates a cohesive design, and adds a touch of sophistication to your home's interior.

To determine how much crown molding to purchase, start by measuring the length of each wall where you plan to install crown molding and add the measurements together to determine the total linear feet required. Purchase an extra 10% of material to account for waste from cutting angles and to ensure seamless joints by using full-length pieces when possible. Including additional material helps avoid shortages and ensures a smooth installation process.

For a professional crown molding installer, this task takes about 1 to 3 hours per room, depending on size and complexity. Factors like the material, design intricacy, and number of corners can affect the time. If you're doing it yourself, expect it to take longer as you get the hang of measuring and cutting precise angles. Advanced measuring and planning or hiring a pro can help the project go smoothly.
