"Review of Perfect Roof Working with Perfect Roofing and Siding for our urgent roof replacement was efficient, cost competitive, of high quality, and beyond all, pleasant. Below is a summary of our experiences from start to finish: Angi Bid Request - Betsy, the company administrator was kind, courteous and respectful. She provided me an appt with a job evaluator the next day within 5 minutes of submitting my Angi request. Job Evaluation - Jim, the job evaluator, was familiar with the area and very respectful towards my family and our home. He provided a thorough overview of the Perfect roof replacement process highlighting quality of work and longevity of the material used and installation. His no-haggle sales discussion was much appreciated. Job Agreement - Carlo, the marketing director, was also kind, professional and respectful. He was very accommodating by being willing to urgently reschedule his visit due to medical issues in the family. He was able to confirm details of our installation, finalize the contracts for the job and provide us with an early timeline for our job’s completion. Roof Removal and Replacement - the installation crew arrived close to the 0800 start and immediately began preparing to work. Within 15 mins tarps were spread across our property to catch the debris from the roof removal. The roof was stripped down to the decking, damaged decking boards were repaired or replaced, and a thorough cleaning of the prepared decking was completed by 1100. The new synthetic sheathing and ice guard were installed and the shingles followed shortly after; all debris was removed from our property and taken away in a dumpster that was timed perfectly in both arrival and departure. By 1500 the roof was essentially complete along with the clean up afterwards. By 1530 the entire crew, dumpster were gone, the only indication that someone was working on our house was the new roof and the advertisement sign I agreed to be placed in the yard. Job Completion - time will be the ultimate test for the longevity of this roof. However, the Perfect team seemed committed to giving it its best chance at outliving its 50 year warranty. In every interaction with Betsy, Jim, Carlo, and Ramses (the company founder), experience was apparent. After inspecting the roof first hand I can attest to the quality of the materials used and the attention to detail in the work of the crew. Am looking forward for the sun to set the roof over the next few days so we can once again have a leak and worry free roof. Final thoughts: As an engineer, a quality product and proper installation was paramount for our home’s roof. After discussing our needs with several other contractors, it was clear that Perfect Roofing offered the best product in terms of quality of materials used and quality of installation. This was proved true following installation. Further, duration from first call to job completion took less than one week, which was fantastic considering the active leak we had. Lastly, having a 50 year transferable warranty provides tremendous peace of mind regardless of our family’s plans to stay in this house for a lifetime or sell next year. "First, the process of getting the estimate was quick and easy. They provide a digital image of what the house was going to look like. It was impressive because they did it while they were there. Massimo was the guy who came for our estimate. He's very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We went with board and baton on the bottom, faux cedar shake on top, new gutters, and new soffit and fascia. Then, once the materials were in, we were told it would take two weeks to finish the whole project. Sounds reasonable for all of the work that needed done.... But just wait, keep reading... George, the project manager, came out on day one of the project. Seriously, he was the friendliest guy and also knows his craft well. Before they began work he informed me of something that might be an issue. We weighed the risk and decided to go forward. Fortunately, it turned out we were okay and there was no issue BUT could you imagine if they started working first and we weren't prepared for what could have been an extra expense?! That's what I mean about George knowing what he's doing, he kept us informed the whole time. The team of guys were working on our home for 12 hours a day and they were busy the whole time. They were very friendly and obviously knew what they were doing. I posted a few progress photos of the work they did so you can see the process. They ended up finishing our home in FOUR days! We had expected a lot longer. They were amazing! Afterwards, we received a follow up call from Massimo to see how things went. Of course we love the transformation and this company has certainly been aptly named... Our home has a new look! After a few days one of the project managers came to take a look and asked if we had any questions or feedback. They have been helpful every step of the way! If you're considering a new look for your home definitely give Massimo and George a call, you won't regret it! "The drop down selections do not cover the scope of the job that Murray and his crew led by Jose did for us. We started out with a roof replacement, where the old roofing materials were removed, damaged wood was discovered and we decided to have the whole roof re-sheeted before the new shingles were laid. Because the covid pandemic affected the available stock on building materials, we did have to make a last minute change to the color selection for the shingles. Murray made a second trip out to our home with samples to make sure we were able to see the actual sample in person, as he understood that this was an important decision not made lightly. We were most happy with the finished roof. We also had elected to have the old aluminum siding replaced, along with the soffit, fascia, gutters and downspouts. While there was a slight delay in being able to obtain these materials, also because of the pandemic, our job was scheduled for this week. The great crew had the old siding removed in no time, and were able to start in with applying the new siding by the early afternoon. The very next day, they came out and finished the entire project efficiently and beautifully, and made sure that all debris was cleaned up. They are very skilled at what they do! After 37 years, we now have what looks like a new home, and couldn't be more elated. After what we all dealt with in 2020, it is a great start to what will hopefully be a better year for everyone. "Fast Quality Service showed up on time the day the roof installation was scheduled. The job was scheduled for 2 days however was completed in 1 day! Cleaned up everything no garbage left behind even had a large magnet to collect and nails that may have fallen in yard or driveway. We had a rain downspout that was disconnected and Fast Quality Service reconnected for us at no charge. We are very happy with the results."
