"Roberto took care of or lawn maintenance at our previous home. We bought a new home (new construction) in Discovery Bay. We had him give us an estimate to landscape the entire backyard and side yard. His estimate was VERY AFFORDABLE! We agreed and he and his crew started that next Monday. Roberto and his crew are punctual, clean, honest, respectful and the hardest working crew we’ve ever came across. We had concrete poured, sod installed, added drainage throughout, irrigation and so much more. Entire project took 3 weeks!! AMAZING!! I loved coming home and seeing so much progress done everyday. -I received a fair and honest quote from Michael and chose to use his company (it was the middle of 3 quotes I solicited...ALL were higher than I anticipated).
-My house had not been properly painted in decades and needed a lot of preparation prior to the actual painting.  Michael's primary painter, Pedro, did a phenomenal job preparing my house for the actual paint job.  My house is about 1100 sq. feet and Pedro worked steadily for 3 solid weeks power-washing, hand-sanding, caulking and sealing my house.  I was not in a hurry to have the paint job done (after ALL these years) so I appreciated the time and care Pedro took with my house.  Michael asked if I preferred to have Pedro work alone of if I wanted a larger crew.  I really appreciated the work Pedro was doing and chose to simply let him take the time to do the job correctly.
-Pedro took great care every day to collect and remove any debris/old paint that was removed from my house.  This was important to me as I have a dog that could have ingested old paint etc. 
-After all the preparation the house was primed and painted.  Michael was very helpful with color suggestions.  I am 100% pleased with the colors I selected.
-I also chose to paint my door.  The first attempt was less than stellar so we decided on a different approach which worked beautifully.  I enjoy the pop of color on my door every time I come home  :)
-After all the work was done I took a couple of days to check out the house and make sure I was absolutely pleased with the final product.  I had a couple of small changes I wanted to make, discussed them with Michael and then they went ahead and did them.  Michael also suggested some final detail work. 
-I was/am 100% pleased with the work that was completed.  It is clear that customer satisfaction is important to Michael.  He is easy to communicate and talk to.
-several of my neighbors are very impressed by the work that was done and have asked for this company's info.

"Nato had previously done landscaping work for us in our front yard, and we always intended to have him do the back. We called him to come over for an estimate and he arrived promptly and gave us a verbal estimate. He is as good as his word. When the extent of the job changed (we added some extras), the bid changed appropriately. The crew was quiet (no loud radios or shouting), prompt, and hardworking. They persevered despite downpours of rain! And the fence is an absolutely beautiful work of art constructed from scratch and embellished with lots of high-end extras. "Highland Landscape was awesome!  We have completed two major projects with Lee.  The first being a major deck remodel and the second a paver / artificial turf patio, with an engineered stone retaining wall and a fenced utility yard. Lee was very easy to work with and provided great design ideas and cost saving suggestions.  
Lee helped us through the design, and kept us thoroughly informed all the way through each of the projects with regular and detailed budget updates.  Even with scope additions on our part, Lee was able to keep the projects on budget without ever compromising quality.  Lee was always onsite during the work, so there was never the worry of something having to be torn out or redone.  They were clean, and respectful of our privacy.  Lee and and his Foreman Manuel  are true craftsmen.  
We would highly recommend Lee and Highland Landscape for any landscape, hardscape or decking project small or big!  While we were glad to start enjoying our new yard, we were sad to see Lee and Manuel go.  Our projects with Lee came out better than expected, and our family will enjoy our new yard for years to come.  We are already trying to figure out our next project with Highland Landscape.
