"The installers arrived on time the day scheduled. They immediately went to work removing the old carpet. They screwed additional nails into the floor to eliminate the squeaking noise the floor was making. While the noise is not entirely gone the floors are much, much more quiet. The new pad and carpet was installed within a couple of hours. They cleaned up all the mess and vacuumed the floors.
