"This company did an excellent job on our commercial foam roofing project. The team was professional, efficient, and completed everything on time. They took great care to avoid damaging any existing pipes or conduits, which really stood out. The quality of their work speaks for itself, and I’m very satisfied with the results. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing roofing services, especially for commercial buildings or roof leak repairs."

"Found Sentri on Angi. Jeanette and Violet were very pleasant and efficient in getting a contractor to me in the time frame needed. The contractor was excellent and the roof looks great! I would definitely work with them again if I had additional projects."

"ANR Roofing did a terrific job re-roofing my house in 2018. A few weeks ago I noticed a pounding water issue, which had damaged a section of the roof. I called ANR and they immediately sent someone out to repair the roof. Since it was a structural issue and not a roof installation issue, it was not covered under warranty. However, ANR still handled the job right away as a courtesy. Very happy with them and would hire them again for sure!"

"I used them to paint our house about 6 1/2 years ago.  I was happy then and am still happy after this job.  They are not the least expensive but do qualtiy work and offer a "touch up" service in between major painting to extend the life of a paint job.  The crew (Enrique and Jorge) were great.  They worked hard and were obviously very experienced.  One of them had been on the crew that painted my house 6 1/2 years ago.  They spent a lot of time on prep.  They estimated that the job would take about 1 week and were right on.  They were also great about coordinating the painting with the gutter company.  I had my old guttters removed prior to painting as I wanted the facia underneath the gutters painted.  The new alumium gutters then needed to be installed while the painters were still there since we were using bonderized downspouts (which need to be painted), several of which needed to be fabricated after the gutters were installed.  Suffice it to say, the coordination went flawlessly.  Also, Joe Freed, the owner, had to deal with my indecision on paint colors and transparent vs. solid stain on the pergola.  I trusted him on the solid stain recommendation and could not be happier.  I was unhappy with the downspout color (which I picked) after they were painted.  Joe and I picked another color and they repainted them without hassle and they look great.  I added another bit to the job at the end which added $140.  Some of the roof flashing was showing between the concrete tile roof and new gutters.  Joe picked up paint and they finished that up with the rest of the job.  I'll definitely use them again."

"John was extremely helpful during a very very difficult time. He answered questions honestly and validated my concerns. He did come out promptly after the July 2015 rain storm when hiring a roofer seemed impossible. He provided a well written estimate and provided his knowledge regarding my options. I had possession of the home for 13 months and during that time in the Antelope Valley I can HONESTLY say that Western Pacific turned out to provide the best service. As a female, I highly recommend them.

"They came out for a $99 roof inspection but it hardly covered anything, they just came out looked at it and gave their evaluation and recommended repairs and gave us an estimate for those. It was okay but I just thought we would get more for what we paid for. Wasn't really a deal. The $99 was really just a we'll come out and look at it, didn't cover any repairs or anything. I just thought it would cover more."

"They were very professional through out the entire process and conscience of the weather when it came time to install, so that they would ensure there would be no damage to the roof in the process. They completed the project on time and it turned out great! I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to family and friends."

"I had a recurring leak in my roof and Asher at AP Roofing Group gave a great quote and he was able to squeeze the roofing job in during the rainy season. The roofers did an amazing work and cleaned up after themselves each day. There was a disagreement about what the job scope was, I distinctly recall saying I didn’t want some gutter work that Asher had provided an estimate on and the very nice person at AP Roofing distinctly remembered otherwise. I offered to pay 1/2 since they done the work even though I was very sure that I had said to not do it, I don’t want to rip off hard working honest people, but they said to leave it since I thought to have another company to do the gutters. That proves to me that Asher at AP roofing is honest and trustworthy and he didn’t try to make me spend additional money. To me personally… this is the most valuable thing of any company. So, I do recommend Asher and AP Roofing to anyone who need either new roof or gutter work."

FAQs for metal roofing installation and replacement projects in Big Bear City, CA

Copper roofs can last 100 years or more, so you’re likely never to need another replacement. Regular maintenance, including annual inspections and occasional cleaning, keeps them in top shape. Work with a licensed roofer for any repairs or inspections to be sure the roof stays watertight and performs as expected.

Cleaning a copper roof averages $460, sealing costs an average of $3 per square foot, and broader repairs cost an average of $6,500.While those figures may seem steep compared to simple maintenance, they’re still far less than the cost of a complete replacement. Staying on top of annual cleanings and quick fixes helps keep costs down and allows the roof to reach its 100-year lifespan.

That green hue is a natural patina that forms as copper reacts with air and moisture. In coastal areas, it can appear in five to seven years; in dry regions, it may take up to 14. The patina shields the copper, so letting it develop is perfectly fine. If you prefer the shiny look, you can have a pro apply a clear sealant and recoat it as needed.

You can paint a copper roof, but it will block the natural patina and may shorten the roof’s lifespan. Once paint goes on, future upkeep becomes more involved—you’ll need to scrape and repaint every few years. Most homeowners skip painting and opt for cleaning or a clear sealant to keep the copper looking its best.

Copper holds up well in nearly every climate. In a humid region, it naturally resists fungus, moss, and algae. In snowy or windy areas, it sheds precipitation and stays firmly in place, as long as it’s installed with room to expand and contract. That flexibility helps the roof stay leak-free through temperature swings and harsh weather year after year.
