"They were on time, provided a quote before the work was done. Very professional. I was replacing a kitchen faucet and Jay knew exactly what needed to be done. I would hire them for all my plumbing needs. They also do electrical work too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND."

"When coming to give a bid, Gordon Senior did a great job looking at each project and explaining what would be done and what it would cost. He spent an entire day completing projects, with a wonderful assistant. He removed and installed two toilets, which required extra work because the old toilets had rusted parts in the floor. Gordon Senior figured out how to fix the problems, and purchased materials to complete the job. He also replaced two outdoor faucets and installed two new indoor faucets. He snaked our sewer pipes out to the street and showed us the condition of our sewer pipe on a live video. A lot was accomplished in a day's worth of work. Our only disappointment was that he didn't follow through with providing a bid on replacing the sewer pipe, which will need to be done eventually."

"I was thrilled with Heart's Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing recent visit to my home. Their serviceman, Mark Sanger, appeared on Sept. 14th, 2020 and very quickly figured out that I just needed a large screw tightened to stop the leak under my sink. He quickly fixed it and THERE WAS NO CHARGE . It had been leaking a lot and had saturated parts of my carpet. He gave me advice that with my older home I would eventually need to replace that screw, but that I should not do it until required, as it was an expensive part. He gave me great general advice about my sink and pipes, worked quickly and efficiently, and EARNED A LOYAL CUSTOMER. I appreciate that I was given updates about his exact arrival time on the day of the appointment and they also gave online personal information and a PICTURE of the repairman coming to my house. It made me feel very comfortable to have been given this information and I appreciated the concern the company showed for MY PERSONAL SAFETY. I have never received that kind of information from any other business coming to my home and it was very much appreciated. I will certainly call HEART again for future repairs. Small jobs welcome

"Juan has done work for us over several years and we keep asking him to do more! He most recently helped patch holes in our drywall and ceiling, He also repaired our attic hatch, replaced the seal at the bottom of our garage door, installed a storm door, and put in a latch to hold our furnace filter in place. Juan does quality work AND is reasonably priced. He gives free estimates and schedules the work in a timely manner! We found a gem many years ago and will continue to hire him for projects!"

"Rocky called when we was on his way, was ahead of schedule, and was very helpful throughout the process. He replaced the valve and ensured there were no leaks before he left. He provided helpful advice regarding overall plumbing as we are new homeowners."

"We have been using Plumbing Tree for all of our plumbing, air conditioning, & heating service since we found him 2 years ago. Kieth may not be the cheapest guy in town, but you get what you pay for. He knows what he's doing and makes sure it's actually fixed right. This time, I had him out to talk about a barhroom remodel I want to do, but ask him if he could replace a valve in my kitchen faucet "to make the trip worth his time". They didn't just see the faucet was leaking on top where I saw it but took time to check underneath and found leaking valves that were damaging the cupboard underneath and even a little into the flooring below. No question, the faucet needed replacement and new valves. I love my new faucet!"

"I like that they sent me text messages with the service person's photo and arrival time. I also got phone calls from the main office alerting me that their service person was on the way to my house. Arrived on time. Service people were friendly and professional. This was a messy repair and they cleaned up and removed everything before leaving."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Black Hawk, CO

You can absolutely install an outdoor mixture tap outside your home. An outdoor mixer tap blends hot and cold water before it leaves the spout, giving you a steady temperature for rinsing produce, washing hands, or spraying down patio furniture. As long as a plumber runs both hot and cold supply lines and insulates them against freezing, a mixer outside performs just like the one in your kitchen.

Outdoor faucet handles come in twist, lever, or knob varieties, all designed to stand up to the elements while giving you precise flow control. They’re built from tough materials yet offer the same comfort and ease of use as indoor faucets. Ask your plumber for a selection and for recommendations on the best option for your needs.

Start by pinpointing the leak—often it’s a worn washer, a loose packing nut, or a damaged gasket. If it’s salvageable, replace the faulty part; otherwise, you may need a new faucet. Always turn off the water before starting repairs, and test thoroughly when you’re done to confirm you’ve stopped the leak.

You can protect your outdoor faucets during the winter months by shutting off the water supply to the outdoor faucet before freezing weather arrives and by always disconnecting any attached hoses. You can further safeguard your outdoor faucets against ice by insulating the pipe and installing a basic faucet cover.

An outdoor faucet can last 20 years, though budget models may wear out in 10, and high-end ones can push 30 or more. Proper installation, routine upkeep, and careful use help you get the most life from any spigot. Ask your plumber for maintenance and care recommendations to get the most from your outdoor faucet.

Replacing an outdoor spigot yourself might work if you’re handy, but a professional plumber guarantees code compliance, reduces the risk of water damage, and offers peace of mind. If you’re not sure about soldering or local regulations, it’s best to hire a licensed plumber for a lasting fix that you can feel confident in.
