"We worked with Daniel at Sembro to design our kitchen remodel. He was extremely helpful, flexible and budget conscious during the planning phase. Two days after demo, our kids got sent home from school and everyone was in quarantine. Needless to say this was a stressful time! Luckily, Sembro was able to continue on with the work. They do not use subcontractors and their workers are fantastic. They are all courteous, hardworking and timely. I felt like all of them cared about the project and the details being right. Another company wanted close to 100k to do what Sembro did for less and I don’t think quality was sacrificed the least. They removed a wall into our dining room and extended the kitchen making it much bigger. We added hardwood in the living and family rooms and refinished the existing hardwood. We kept the sink where it was but pretty much everything else was gutted. Because of The pandemic there were a few delays but that was not Sembros fault. Honestly, we absolutely love our kitchen and so does everyone else who sees it. We will definitely use Daniel and his team in the future to remodel our bathrooms. Great company to work with-even during a pandemic!"

"We recently remodeled a 100 year-old Craftsman home. We initially discussed the project with Mose Troyer and were very impressed with his knowledge and advice. The project required replacing and replicating a considerable amount of the woodwork. Mose also modified the existing Shaker kitchen cabinets. Modifications included building new cabinets to match the existing ones. He also adjusted several cabinets while maintaining the original look of the cabinetry. Mose also completely built an entire wall of pantry cabinets in the Shaker style. He installed new baseboards and window trim. He rebuilt and repaired existing window trim in several other rooms. Mose integrated the repairs to the point that after painting no one could discern that the sill had been repaired. His work was flawless. In addition, he walled off a doorway and built a bookcase with enclosed shelves in the lower half. He installed 10 new doors with hardware in line with the original style of the home. He also installed two barn doors with hardware. He is conscientious and easy to work with. Without his creativity and craftsmanship the project would never have been as successful and we’re thrilled with the results. Without reservation, we highly recommend Mose for cabinetry/carpentry work."

"Tim did a superb job of tearing out the old, putting in the new and repairing the active wet spots in the kitchen ceiling. I feel that his estimates were fair and reasonable and the craftsmanship was a world of difference from the previous subpar job I had done. "We are so thankful that we chose Premier Remodeling to build our new kitchen. After interviewing a number of possible contractors, we were impressed by Jeff (the owner) and his knowledge, insights and suggestions regarding the project. We were also impressed by the fact that he is a second generation cabinet maker, and when we saw photos of the wooden boat he and his father built, we were convinced he could handle any unique problems that came up in the kitchen project. Greg, was the person who was on site every day and personally did much of the work. He was beyond amazing. His careful attention to detail (from removing a wall to making sure each outlet was correctly aligned) was like he was doing the project in his own home. Greg made sure everything was as it should be, even if it meant more work for him. At the end of each day, he would make sure everything was cleaned up and put away to minimize any inconvenience on our part. He was also a pleasure to have around. In fact, when the project was over, we felt a tinge of bittersweet as he would not be around the house anymore. Our project was somewhat unique as one wall of cabinets made a 45 degree turn. While 90 degree turns (any corner) are easy as there are cabinets made for that purpose, a 45 degree turn requires considerable adjustments and craftsmanship. Jeff and Greg were totally up to the challenge. Jeff even customized the drawers as necessary to give us the maximum storage space possible. Throughout the entire project we never had a problem or issue with Jeff or Greg, even when we made a last second change or two, they were most agreeable to comply with our wishes. We TOTALLY recommend without any reservations or hesitations. Great quality work, reasonable pricing, excellent quality people who earn (and keep) your admiration and respect."

"We hired Diamond in the Rough Construction for a home addition, and while the finished result looks good at first glance, the process was full of issues and cost us much more than expected. We chose Diamond because of Abby, the salesperson, who was incredibly helpful and responsive. However, she left midway through the project, and we missed her support. Addison, the project manager, did his best but was left to handle more than he should have. The owners, Joe and Mike, were completely absent ? no check-ins or follow-ups, even when major issues arose.There were significant mistakes, like framing the windows to the wrong size, and we were blamed for "approving the wrong windows." HVAC was also forgotten until after construction started, forcing us to pay thousands more. The trim was poorly finished with putty that didn?t match the color of the pre-painted trim, and the solution was simply to cover the nail holes with a paint pen. In the end, we can?t recommend Diamond in the Rough"
