"D's Doors was amazing!!!  I've only been a homeowner for a year (and am clearly ignorant, not even knowing the proper names of most garage/house parts), so when calling a repair person, I am usually nervous that someone will see a chance to overcharge me.  But these guys were able to accurately estimate the cost of repair over the phone from my description of the problem.  They also text (which I appreciate, as I am usually unable to take personal calls at work), so it was easy for me to set up the date for them to come fix the garage door.  They arrived promptly, fixed the door (it still works great :), and only charged what they'd estimated over the phone.  They even went WAY above and beyond, and included in the price putting back up a piece of roof fascia on my two-story house that had blown off in a weekend storm!  I would definitely hire them again. "We're very happy with Kevin's work. It was great to have a single contact to handle all of our requests instead of having to hire individual contractors to do different things. He did the work over the course of a couple of months -- mostly because we had to wait for other contractors to install carpet, counters, etc. He showed up when he said he would (or called us ahead of time to reschedule), was very friendly, and was willing to be flexible when we added/removed things from the original scope of work. He was able to handle any task we threw at him. <br /> There is only one minor negative. Since he's a one man show, he can get booked up quickly, and because of that had to rebook us a few times due to his workload for other customers (or leave after only doing a few hours of work for us). This was a little annoying because we took vacation time from work to make sure we were home. We were told that most of his customers give him a key to the house so he can work without them, but we're just not that trusting... (although if there was any contractor that we would trust to enter our home, Kevin would be the one!). That said, he was also more than willing to do some of the work over weekends, so that more than makes up for it in my mind! <br /> We'll definitely call him again when another project comes up. <br />"
