He even welcomed me to watch him while he worked as he explained the intricacies of the electrical outlet (which was a GFCI multi-branched oulet, connected to other garage and bathroom outlets). I would recommend him for any electrical problem or fresh installation, and plan to hire him in the future for other electrical projects I have around my house."

"The reason I am complaining is it said it is a whole house surge preventer, and there was an implication  that its a whole house surge preventer.  Well, it turns out that they put in a very, very low end unit that protects like the motor on your furnace and on your air condition system.  It does not protect your electronics.  I think it was a big deal, or some special deal.  I guess if I'd been told it did not cover surge prevention for electronics, I wouldn't of bought it.  Since the guy was here, you know,  I told him to put it in.  The guy was very nice and stuff, you know, but when I did some research after the fact as to what he put in, quite what I expected.  If I'd had known that ahead of time.  The point is that I didn't think the ad fully disclosed that the device they put in does not protect electronics.  That is my biggest concern, we have lightning and I get my cable tv boxes, but I get electronics fried all the time, thunderstorms yeah.  It was good quality.  They came out the next day.  The guy was quite up front with what he was doing.  As you know if you're going to pay for a service call for someone to come out, skimping on the quality of the equipment they use is not a good deal. Quite happy to pay $50 more for a better piece of equipment."

"I hired Derek and his colleague to wire up our new hot tub. He was excellent at communicating and providing an estimate before work was started. The quality of work he provided exceeded my expectations. Everything was done neatly, to code, and did not leave a mess at my house. A sprinkler line was damaged during trenching, since we didn't know it was there, and he made the repairs with no questions asked. I would definitely hire him or recommend for electrical work. A+"

"Don's Electric sent out a technician, Kenny, who arrived on a Tuesday around 3pm. Immediately Kenny knew that the job was going to be too difficult to troubleshoot in the usual hour or so that we were alotted for the estimate and so he, much to our surprise and delight, went out of his way to try and reschedule some less critical appointments with other customers who were willing to do so (I wish we could thank those customers as well) for later in the week. Don's Electric was able to send Kenny back out on Thursday morning at 8:30am, expecting to be there most of the day. I can't say enough good things about Don's Electric, and Kenny, in particular. Kenny was punctual, professional and efficient. He worked quickly and had our issue (one that I thought was far more critical than it turned out to be) troubleshot inside of an hour or so and resolved shortly thereafter. Kenny was patient, and was kind enough to answer any of the questions that my wife and I had for him; and there were many. He took the time to replace and repair all the receptacles, switches and a couple of junction boxes that I had pulled out of my walls and ceilings when I had tried to troubleshoot the issue initially and he even helped me hang a light fixture in my foyer. He repeatedly asked if there were any other issues he could look into while he was there, and while we were tempted to ask him to rewire our entire home, we knew we had to let him go on to other jobs for future happy customers... He also made sure to clean up after himself and treated my home with respect while he was working. I really could go on and on, but I don't want to embarrass the guy... Since my wife and I have been homeowners, this has been our best experience working with a contractor. From now on, we will always be calling Don's Electric for our electrical needs, and we hope that Kenny will be our Electrician when we do. We have a project planned to install an automatic generator transfer switch in the near future. Don's already has our business."

"Great on time service. Clean, efficient, professional and a pleasure to have working for me, they displayed the desire to "go the extra mile" to make sure that I was informed all thru the project and happy. Completing the job in a perfect manner was the only way acceptable to them, which pleased me. I had a complete residential electrical overhaul, Electric Pannel, Meter Box, etc., along with a Generac stand by generator installed, which also utilized the Plumbing division of their company. I could not be more pleased with the customer service, the work completed, the technicians and the pricing. Seriously, I hire contractors for projects that I am not comfortable attacking, and as for Contractors...they always disappoint me in one regard or another. there is usually some sort of problem or mis-representation or price changes, and I am always nervous about them being in my home and doing a proper job. Not these guys, I would have no problem giving them a key and alarm code to come and complete a job at my house without me there. The communication from them was outstanding, I received several texts with time frames and photo's of the techs along with some information. I have never had this type of contact and it was helpful and frankly pretty cool. If you have any type of work you are considering hiring a contractor for, you will be doing yourself a great service to use Mr. Sparky Electric or any of the other divisions of their company if your job can be handled by them."

"Extreme Exteriors did a fantastic job from start to finish. I reached out to this company to get a quote for the repair / replacement of my mother roof. Shortly after reaching out I received a call back from Jacob who is a real pleasure to work with. Jacob setup a convenient day and time for us to meet to take a look at the roof. Jacob being the professional he is took pictures of the shingles lifting, missing and moss growing in the valleys to share with me. After Jacob performed his roof inspection we sat down to discuss the process, materials and pricing for the job. Extreme Exteriors was able to come in approximately $300 less then comparable competitors. For insurance reasons I had a very aggressive schedule and required the roof installed ASAP - Jacob was able to coordinate with his crews along with pulling all the necessary permits needed to perform the job in the time frame I required it. This company does not mess around - the day after the shingles were delivered a crew showed up early at the house. Extreme Exteriors got the work completed in about 5 hours keeping the work area clean and they performed a Magnet sweep to pickup any stray nails. This company did a complete tear-off, installed GAF Snow Country Ridge Vent System, Front and Back Edge Vents, installed new drip edge and 6' of ice & water shield. They also install new flashing around the chimney. I would definitely use this company again for any of my future roofing needs and would highly recommend them to my friends and family."

"I submitted my project through Angie's List on a Thursday and requested quotes from CSR and two other providers. Ron was the first to respond, about about a half hour later. Although he offered to come out fairly immediately, the earliest my schedule would allow was the following Thursday so that was what we scheduled for his visit. He showed up promptly at the scheduled time with Dan. They evaluated the impacted area in the hall, as well as the attic since the mold had grown primarily along the perimeter of attic access door. They pointed out signs of poor ventilation in the attic, as well as evidence of weakened structure in the roof panels. To prevent recurrence of the mold, they recommended that these items be addressed. In terms of the immediate issue of the existing mold on the ceiling, they determined that the mold on the ceiling had not damaged the drywall itself so a professional cleaning and sealing would remove the mold. Re-painting the area (as well as the remaining hallway and trim, etc) was also recommended. I was comfortable with their recommendations, especially since I had been expecting that more extensive measures (e.g., drywall removal and repair) would be involved. I was relieved that the drywall had not been damaged by the mold. We scheduled the work to occur the following morning. Ron, his son (Anthony), and Dan showed up promptly as scheduled on Friday and began prepping the areas (taping the area for painting, setting up protective plastic, setting up ventilation fans). I was able to remain home, tucked away in my den, while they worked. The job was completed in about four hours, and they did a great job cleaning up afterwards. I was completely comfortable at all stages of my encounters with them. The work was done well and with minimal inconvenience to me. I also got a good sense that they wanted to do what needed to be done without inflating the project with unnecessary recommendations. In further testament to their integrity, Dan called me today as he noticed that the check I had written was for too much. He came back today to issue me the refund personally.
