"Robert came out and gave us an estimate, it was fair so we moved forward with the plans.  We did make some adjustments to what needed to be done, and they said no problem, we will adjust the quote based on the work that's actually performed.  Nice to have that flexibility as we were planning all of this from out of town.
The employee that came to do the work (or maybe he was sub-contracted, not sure) was a super nice guy named Dave.  We were planning to have the work done on Saturday and Monday, but ran into issues with our flooring not being level, so the work ended up being done Sunday and Monday, with some finalizing on Wednesday.  Dave showed up Sunday morning and got to work. 
The only negative I would say is that Dave/his helper wanted to charge us to remove the empty boxes from the hardwood.  I understood since it wasn't wood we purchased through them, but since we left NV to return to CA on Sunday, we couldn't do this ourselves and it left us with a bit of a dilemma.  The good news is that I mentioned this to Karen/Robert Clark, and when Robert came out to do a final inspection, he took the empty packaging with him.  Great customer service, thank you!

"I hired EverLast flooring to install flooring and baseboards in my two story house. They did all three (3) bedrooms, three (3) bathrooms, living room, dining room, laundry room, kitchen, stairs, and upstairs hallway. Everything. They had very reasonable rates (which were in my budget before I, were able to start immediately, were prompt each work day, and even put in extra time to make sure everything turned out the way it was supposed to. They communicated with me throughout the entire process and asked for and followed my directions when there were different approaches that could be taken (e.g., direction of flooring, cut of flooring and baseboard on stairs, etc.). It took several days over all, but they could have finished sooner if I had more availability. It's now been over a month since they finished work and I have to say: they did a great job. I'm very happy with the finished product. In addition to the contracted work, they uncovered water damage around the two (2) upstairs toilets and were able to repair the damage before installing the new floor and new toilets. It cost a little extra to repair the existing damaged flooring, but it was very reasonable and it gave me a lot of peace of mind to know that it was taken care of so that I could just enjoy my new floors. again. I worked with Terry (the lead and coordinator), Joseph, Brian, and Miguelito (installers) and they all did a great job. "Rudolph arrived on time and was prepared to work the full day if needed to complete our projects. He has integrity! We had a laundry list of items to be repaired, and he let us know for several items on the list that we should hire another provider to complete the work. Some things he said he could do, but wouldn't do it as well as another professional. He even went so far as to provide us recommendations for who to call for a couple things (custom door weather stripping & ceiling fan repairs). We will be hiring him again later this year to repair and paint our fence/gates as well as install casters on a cabinet. The only reason I gave him a 'B' for quality was because one of our chair legs was repaired with a gap where there shouldn't be a gap, so the attention to detail on this repair faded. The quality of that work was not on par with everything else. He has promised to deliver puddy when in the area next since re-doing the repair may damage the chairs thanks to the wood glue. The wood glue overflow seemed excessive to my husband, but I believe that is normal and we were able to remove it once dry. The other 'B' for professionalism was regarding cleanup - which is one of my pet peeves with contractors. The keys to my back fence gate (which includes a house key) were left in the gate unattended during the day, and not returned at the end of the day. There were extra pieces of the chicken wire which we had to throw away. And the old chicken wire was thrown away in our recycling bin instead of trash bin."
