"Awesome. I had two really tough spots to work on - my dog found someone's deep fryer full of oil outside, drank a ton of pure oil, and then rejected it immediately on the carpet. Pure oil! I cleaned when it happened, but over time, the spots became dirt magnets. All Seasons knew exactly what to do to remedy this and took the time to make sure it was done right. Three months later and it looks as good as they day they left - no more dirt magnet. I have hired a lot of carpet cleaners over the years and I have to say this was the BEST experience I have ever had. I highly recommend them for any job - large or small, routine or ugly like mine."

"Really well. First, the salesman showed me several choices. Although they were limited, they fit exactly with what I needed. The price was very reasonable! The carpet and pad are very good quality. The carpet layer was skilled, merging the new carpet with an existing carpet. Everyone was polite and got right to work. I will definitely use this business again."

RUG BINDERY

"The Rug Bindery is a one-man shop. Its owner, George, is personable and skilled. He's bound several pieces of carpet left over from a wall-to-wall carpet installation for use as area rugs and did a wonderful job. More impressively, he recently repaired a patterned Oriental runner that my dog had decided was snack food. She'd chewed almost an inch into one side and I wasn't sure the carpet could be saved. George backed the damaged area to prevent further fraying and matched the edging so well that the repair is unnoticeable. His prices are very reasonable, and I'm always happy with his absolutely first-class work. I happily recommend him without reservation! <br />"

"We have used Ultimate Carpet Cleaning many times, and will continue to do so.  They are very knowledgeable and professional plus prompt and courteous.  They always discuss what they will do and follow through. I have also had them clean rugs, and they end up really beautiful.  They have made it their business to know everything they can about their industry, and they offer many options that other companies do not.  I have total faith in them."

"Excellent on everything they did for me. Great selection of carpet and vinyl which I bought both. Very pleased with the carpet installed in living room and stairs. Vinyl installed nicely in a bathroom and laundry room. My house was built in 2005 so all hardwood needed refinished. They stepped me through the whole process. Beautiful hardwood now. I have referred friends and neighbors and will continue. Any further flooring I might need in the future will be from Capell."

"Two neatly dressed, clean cut men showed up a couple of minuted before the scheduled time. <br /> They looked workmanlike, were very polite, and they installed the carpeting. <br /> The job they did was what we wanted, and it was completed on time. <br /> We could not ask for a better purchase and installation experience. <br />"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Boise, ID

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
