"Jonesy lives in the next town and he happened  to have a little time free so he came right over an hour later.
I could not remove the blown bulb in the freezer. Frankly, I was a little embarrassed to call an appliance repair guy, but was glad I did.  He told me with newer refrigerators with electronic displays,  if the bulb breaks, it can short out the mother board and turn into a costly repair.  So I asked him to do it.
He had a tough time but was able to remove the bulb without breaking it.  While he was here, I had him clean the compressor and front grill.
He suggested that you always put a little Vaseline on the threads of the bulb to prevent this problem in the future. Clearly, the original bulb had been over tightened and, as I saw on line, is not an uncommon problem.  
He was very personable and offers a $10 discount to Angie's List members.  I will definitely use him again.

"Dave replaced a toilet in our condo. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. The toilet I purchased came with all the parts. However, as there was a cast iron flange instead of a plastic one, he recommended a different wax ring than what came with the toilet. Dave was prepared. He also provided a new supply line to ensure that everything worked when he left and would last. No short cuts. Dave was efficient and professional. He left the place clean when he was done. Would hire again."

"The hot water tank started leaking on a Saturday, I called the emergency number and a lovely man said no one was available but he would call and see if there was any flex in someone's schedule. He called back in about 10 minutes to say he could get a guy who occasionally did contract work for them. The guy came out, turned off the water, removed the old tank, went to get a new one and installed it. It took most of the day but he was busy working the whole time. He did a great job and left the place dry and spotless. The price seemed very fair. I would use this outfit again. Lovely people and great service.
