"I had a bad contractor attempt to build a new deck for me. Thank goodness I found Tommy Hollis and Lone Star Deck. Tommy and his crew came out promptly and had to tear out the mess the bad contractor did. Tommy and his crew were always professional, prompt, cleaned up daily, efficient and managed to install the composite deck and railing as promised before my daughter's wedding. "Installation of the fence went well. After it was installed the hardware that they used to open the gate from the inside was too small to serve the purpose and my hand got pinched every time I used it. So they adjusted the gate. This adjustment rendered the lock useless as there is too much space to reach the adjacent post that locks my gate. And worse yet, they could see that this was a problem. Their solution was to unscrew the scores some and bend the part that surrounds the deadbolt. This did not solve the problem. The lock serves no purpose as it does not meet the other side of the gatepost and it looks like ****. I’ve contacted then several times being told that they stand behind their work and they would check it and get back to me. This was over a year ago, I contacted them again 2-3 weeks ago and I haven’t heard from them. I want them to fix it or give me my $125 back so I can get a real locksmith to repair their bungled job."
