He was unable to find the source of the failure and said it could be the motherboard and it could fail again and at that point I’ll need to weigh if the cost of replacing that mother board or replacing the 9 year old range makes more sense. I was only charged $199 and he spent over an hour trying to isolate the failure. I appreciate his honesty and not charging me an exorbitant price. "I called Ben and Elizabeth on Sunday late afternoon, and Ben was at the house the next morning. I was so thankful for their speediness. Ben came in and took apart the dryer -- an older Kenmore gas model -- and quickly identified the reason it wasn't drying. He switched out some parts, installed a new fuse and had it up and running within an hour. The whole thing was under $250, which included a service call charge, parts, and taxes. Now, the dryer is probably good for another ten years and saves me from having to buy a whole new washer dryer pair (which is was dreading!) Ben is incredibly professional and fast! "We have been using East Hill Heating & Cooling for close to 20 years now. First, in our Federal Way home and then when we moved to our Auburn home. They have repaired both furnace and hot water tanks over the years and also replaced them when needed. ( each home had different issues ). They have also installed digital thermostats in each home when we asked them to do so. Our new home had some issues underneath that we were unaware of when we bought it. It is a manufactured home. Doug crawled underneath, made the repairs and rewrapped all of the duct work to fix the problem. They have always fit us into their swamped schedule and never suggest replacing, when repairing is a better and more economical option. We trust them completely!
