"I called because the water heater did not automatically turn on when the water temperature dropped below the set ting. TLC said they would arrive between 10 ant noon but called to say they were running late.  I find this very common with many providers but still I think it unprofessional. Anyway, the plumber came and determined that the gas control valve was bad. He called his office and they said the part was available but was downtown.  The plumber gave me a price of about $250 to install even though the part was under warranty. I agreed to that price. He went downtown but when he came back 2 hours later he said that the part they had was the wrong one and brought me a new water heater instead and now the price was $565 to install. Well, I have no water heater so I am forced to accept this.  <br /> I ended up with a new water heater and a new warranty but I did spend more than my budget.  If it wasn't that the part would take till the next week to get, because of the 4th holiday, I would have done without hot water for a day.  <br /> The installation was professional and the place was left clean. I have used TLC in the past and they continue to have courteous and professional technician."

".The job went great, except that when it began, as with any project, when you start digging and moving things around, you find other things that you didn't know were there.  <br /> In our case, a drain pipe was found where a footing was supposed to go.  RAD let us know immediately and proposed a solution that worked around the drain line (much better than moving it) and provided an approved cost effective alternative to the original plan. <br /> RAD, at our request, obtained City permits and coordinated inspections by City inspectors. <br /> A great job by all - workers, office staff, we are very pleased.  we would use them again and recommend them. <br />"
