"Our Demo and installer was Gene from the Bath Authority group. Genes work throughout the entire process of Demolishing two tub/shower combinations (a little over 23 years old) and replacing with shower wall systems (BCI Acrylic) was OUTSTANDING! Gene is very meticulous and thorough. His attention to detail is above reproach! In short, his work is Superb! I am very impressed with the finished products. "Got on Angi's: Wanted Glass Shower Door Unit installed on Tub. 20 minutes after submitted for help - Matt texted and ask when good time to stop by. I Said in morning, anytime after 9 am. I called Matt next morning, about 9 am - we talked and Matt said could be over in 15-20 minutes (and he was). Matt noticed: Tub had lean. Long story short: More we tore into things, the worse it got !! With Matt's advice (and his co-worker Brad) - ended up: removed Cast Iron Tub, reinforced sidewall studs & base plate, reinsulated, replaced subfloor & interior walls around tub. THEN: Installed new tub & surround. Of course, existing water lines had to be relocated !! Numerous small hurdles came up (during all this). Been hard not to lose patience. Matt & Brad never got upset, were never negative. They'd figure situations out, share info with me & share what they planned to do - to fix it. Not once, did Matt or Brad not include me, regarding any significant repair needing done. Not once, did Matt or Brad complain. After new shower & tub installed - they were finally able to install Glass Shower Door Unit !! Did a wonderful job !! Brad even reinstalled Laminate Flooring that had to be torn up (when replaced subflooring). Matt's work was detailed & proper. He not a "Corner Cutter" - yet, he knows how to do things (that save you money). Matt talked with me about work to be done: before, during & after. We also talked about money: before, during & after. There were no suprises. Matt and Brad are true to their word. Bottom Line: If need help on project in future: Matt will be my 1st call. And I hope Brad still working with him. Good Team !!"

"It went very well.  Despite the fact that I live in Tennessee and this company is in Boston, they helped me a great deal.  I can't remember what I actually paid them, but it seemed reasonable for what I got:  unlimited access to the decorator's assistance.   I had already chosen some of the elements needed for my bathroom remodel, but got bogged down over colors/curtains/light fixtures at the end.  I just needed some help in tying everything together.
Their decorator (Amanda Zettel) and I worked mainly through Pinterest;  I made a board of my bathroom, using pictures of what I'd chosen already, and she sent me links to items that she thought I would like in categories that I needed.  We also talked over the phone several times, and emailed, too.  I believe Homemade Design will also help you with vendors and purchasing, though I didn't use that service.  Amanda did send me to some new websites, and I chose my bathroom lights from one of them.  Amanda helped me choose the finish, the shades, and the placement of the fixtures, which I love.  They are unique and charming - thanks, Amanda!
She also sent me several names of paint colors to chose from for the bath.  Because of the variations in computer screen colors, some people might not be comfortable with this, but I wanted to be the one who actually picked the color.  I just felt a little overwhelmed at the huge selection, so Amanda was able to narrow my choices to a range that I could live with.  The color has been up on my wall for over a month now, and I'm very happy with it.
All in all, this was a very good experience, and I will definitely use Jeff and Amanda's help again!"
