"Our home siding replacement, roof/gutter replacement went very well from the first contact. There was no hard sell and we were given an extremely competitive bid. Timothy gave us very detailed explanations of every aspect of the removal and installation of the siding, roof, gutters and 2 skylights, answering every question we had in layman's terms. We received weekly schedule updates until they moved in and began work on the siding. Despite beginning in February, a cold and extremely wet season, it didn't slow them down. The guys that installed our siding were great! They were very proficient and took their work seriously. They were also thoughtful about consulting us about our preferences related to minor finishing details. They worked safely and kept a very clean worksite, cleaning up after themselves each day. Amber was our contact at their home office and she called us every day to ask if we had any questions or concerns. Fortunately, we had none since it all went so smoothly and like clockwork. The only unfortunate issue that occurred during our project was the lockdown and quarantine due to Covid-19. Northern Pacific Exteriors bent over backwards to get our projects completed before the lockdown, even by bringing in extra workers to complete the roof. We are so thankful for that! "After receiving 4 quotes to replace the siding on the south-facing end of our 1950's home - still possessing its original 1956 siding - we decided to choose Athex. They were chosen not because of the quote, but because there was something "good" we saw in this father/son duo. Though the project developed hiccups as we decided to also inject insulation into walls, they were accommodating to these delays and we offered more work for them to remedy a previous window installers "hack job" by adding picture-frame trim to all our windows. We also accepted their bid to paint the house to cover the scars left by the insulation installation. We were very fortunate to have met and used Athex. "I selected Side-Pro because they were the most professional, direct and honest of the contractors I interviewed. The gentleman who reviewed my home and the work that needed to be done used no pushy sales tactics, came up with quotes for several different options and price tiers, and was actually informed and experienced regarding the work to be done. This standard held for every person I met from their staff, from the office to the on-site contractors. Everyone was responsive, friendly and very helpful. My house was completely sided in Hardie Plank, fully up to Hardie's specifications, replacing some aging LP recalled planking and T1-11, along with correcting several emerging structural issues, including a completely rotten corner. The planks are straight, the seams perfect. The paint crew was incredibly fast and had the whole house done in a day, even coating all around, and only a few touchups found in the final walk-through. The only issue that arose with the project was due to a miscommunication between two crews trading off the siding project, which Duane immediately set about correcting without my even having to ask, let alone having to argue with them. My home looks fantastic, and I can't recommend them highly enough!"

"These guys are stellar. My deck was in disrepair and I was uncertain what to do with it - whether to totally knock it down and start anew, or to build on the existing foundation. Also what material to use - composite, wood, etc. They came out, looked at my deck, gave recommendations, and worked within my budget. We went with cedar, and within two weeks, I had an absolutely beautiful new deck, built on the existing foundation. I was very pleased with the whole interaction - they were courteous and professional, friendly and hard-working, arriving early and working through the day to get the job done. It was for me an exceedingly good experience with a contractor, and their work is solid. I was nervous as a first time home owner to hire a contractor, for fear of not knowing enough and being taken. I had spoken with several other general contractors and also specific deck builders prior to hiring Modern Exteriors, and each could have built a deck. One larger company offered a lower price but when they came out, the materials they suggested would have been sub-par and the deck would have been plastic-looking. These guys are a smaller business that build decks for a living, and are very good at it and clearly enjoy each project - like works of art. I highly recommend them."

He even let us know places where improvements weren't urgent, even if that meant Perdue making less money from us, which is an uncommon level of integrity. The crew working on the job were also great - reliable, hard-working, tidy, and communicative - we especially appreciated that they asked questions when uncertain on how we'd want particular things handled (e.g. light fixture installation) vs just doing what they thought was best, a pattern we've seen with other contractors. I have heard horror stories from neighbors that were told one thing and then when work began they were told something else. With WVC everything they said they would do was done. "We had a great experience working with PNW Exterior. We enjoyed our first meeting learning about the differences in siding, trim, and window design options, as well as material quality. We had all the exterior on our project replaced and the entire project took less than we anticipated. The crew worked well and overall we are VERY pleased with our new siding and windows. They even added new soffit at a reasonable cost to make our project look fresh and clean. The new siding and windows gave our property the added outside touch that was needed. Also, they ensured to caulk and seal all areas making the exterior very easy to clean with pressure washers and we don't have to worry about water infiltration. Which was something I was really looking forward to.
