"We had a great experience working with A2Z for our home remodel. They converted our main floor into an open floor plan, including removing walls, completely remodeling our kitchen, retiling our fireplace, fixing up our floors, repainting entire interior and exterior of the home, and adding lighting throughout the main level. Everything turned out beautifully. Issac was our project manager and he was very responsive and attentive to our needs, really felt like they wanted us to get want we wanted. The few minor hiccups they fixed immediately and we were very impressed. Even during COVID, project stayed on time and on budget, which we were very happy about. We do wish the designer was a little more involved in planning because we ended up having to make some decisions on our own, but the process was very smooth and the 3D rendering was great to have before committing to the design. We shopped around a bit and A2Z was very competitively priced. Would definitely work with them again."

"Home Re Shape did an excellent job on my home project. From first communication to full completion. Very professionally done. Employees and contractors were always on time, worked hard, cleaned up after themselves, and the quality of work was an A+, which is hard to find these days. I'm very pleased with the service, definitely would use them again and would recommend them to anyone."

About us: "We're building a better planet by creating net-zero homes and buildings--fully powered, heated, and cooled with 100% renewable resources. We're proud to have earned a Class A General Contracting license and almost 50 years of experience leading scores of crews in the high-rise construction industry and then evolving into an award-winning master builder of eclectic, green-built homes, buildings, and off-grid mountain ranches. All told, we've built, remodeled, or renewably energized hundreds of homes, commercial projects, earth-sheltered dwellings, sound studios, and luxury developments. Our sweet spot is combining high performance building envelopes with renewable energy, HRV/ERV, battery storage, and hydronic HVAC systems. We love erecting high R-value super strong structures that provide elegant, comfortable, low maintenance, and healthy indoor living and working environments that can stand up to the harshest elements (fire, wind, rain, cold, and heat) AND the test of time!"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
