"Albright was the middle quote for my flooring project. I chose them because of their apparent knowledge and expertise in the flooring business. Chuck was my contact, but Joey Albright was also involved in making sure everything went well. <br /> They were always on time for appts, from the initial measure for the quote, delivering materials and installation. <br /> The floor installers were awesome, and my wood floor looks incredible. We had the steps carpeted as well. looks great. <br /> I asked about low VOC adhesive and they ordered it for me There was never any offensive odor at all. <br /> Great experience for a big project. <br />"

"Probably the best in Atlanta! During a very busy season, Britt was able to squeeze us in his schedule. He was very professional, on-time and was a perfectionist about our pool. I can't say enough about this guy and his team. He came back twice to make sure everything was done perfectly...and it was. Britt could teach the other pool service companies in Atlanta how to treat customers respectfully, how to service a pool excellently and all for a fair price."

"Everything went well from start to finish.  Shawn and his team are great to work with. They are all very professional, punctual,  do great work, and some of the nicest people to do our home repairs.  One deck board was defective and they replaced it in a timely manner. <br /> Our new deck looks so nice and we are very pleased with the whole process. <br />"

"Raul restretched my carpet after it was initially installed by another company. He had to do a lot of work which required reopening seams, and he did a terrific job. Even with having to redo seams, it looks great. I was so impressed I recommended him to my mother who bought a house this summer. Comparing my initial house installation to hers, it was about 8% less expensive, and, more importantly, the job was done well and done quickly. The seams are virtually invisible. He and his employees take a lot of pride in their work. He also replaced my mother's hardwood foyer. He came in on a Saturday and had the job done and covered before the painters got there at noon."

"My wife and I bought a house in Athens in 2012. We hired a variety of contractors from the area to help with the remodeling of our home. Time and time again I was met with high prices and low quality work. I had a front door installation that was installed with 10 different sized screws. I had an outer wall repaired with masonite that was sold to me as "a high quality construction material." which quickly disintegrated leaving my home exposed to the elements. The contractor even told me not to worry about a rotting section of the house's frame that I expressed concern over. I felt like My wife and I were being taken advantage of at every turn and the work being done never seemed to be done right. We hired Jimmy Parr (Son of a Plumber) to install new ceiling fans and lights throughout the house. Jimmy did excellent work and so we hired him to fix the outer wall of our home that had been so badly handled by the previous contractor. Jimmy gave us a surprisingly fair price and ended up discovering more damage to the frame of our house than we had ever imagined. Jimmy repaired the bottom plate of the frame and replaced it with a 16' pressure treated 2x4 which he nailed to the concrete foundation. The end result was that I could feel the difference in the structural integrity of the upstairs of our home. I really can't thank Jimmy enough for going above and beyond what he had originally set out to do, but most of all for being honest with us about the problems that the previous contractor had ignored. Since then we have hired Jimmy for countless small jobs. He always comes through with integrity and skill (unlike other contractors that I've hired). I would recommend Jimmy for any job around the house."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Bowersville, GA

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
