"We contracted Winthrop Place for a remodeling job that included converting an extra room into an additional bathroom & converting the adjoining room into a bedroom (adding a closet, new doorway and framing the existing doorway) for my elderly mom. Michael and crew did a fantastic job. They were very professional and completed the work in a short time frame, making the house much more accessible for my mom. They took care to preserve and re-use the house's original wood trim/moulding so the new rooms tie in perfectly with the existing spaces. Michael has many years of experience and it shows in both the quality of the work performed and the suggestions he offered along the way. Finding a contractor for a big job can be very stressful, these guys made the whole remodeling process easy & painless. I'm happy to say that this company knocked it out of the park in terms of quality of workmanship, timeliness, and fair pricing. Can't ask for much more than that. After this project I can confidently recommend Winthrop Place if you're looking for a local contractor. I just wish I'd found them sooner!"

"Tired of the expensive service calls from GE Repair, I joined Angie's list to find a repairman for my GE dryer. Brad was one of the recommendations on the list and close by, so I called. He answered the phone that morning and told me he'd be out later that day, or 10AM the next morning. He came the next morning at 10, cleaned the dryer which didn't solve the problem. He returned the next day at 10 as promised with a new switch which didn't solve the problem. He determined it needed a new motor...a repair that would run in the $300 range. With two repairs in 7 years and a repair of that magnitude, his advice was to go shopping for a new dryer. I paid him $30 for the service call and found a new dryer for $345 delivered and installed."

"We were quite satisfied and happy with the job Arnold's did with installing our new windows. The product was great and they look great. There were 2 flaws in the product and that company came and fixed it within a couple weeks. Arnold's installers were very professional and personable. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Arnold's sent someone to inspect and even checked up after the 2 items were repaired. The product is Polaris windows and we are very happy with them and the difference we noticed this winter (2017-2018 in Toledo, OH) in our heating bill. We had a very frigid January and our gas bill showed an increase in usage of only 13 CCFs from last January which was extremely mild compared to this year. We were very happy. Arnold's did our roof in June and we experienced the same satisfaction and service. We would use them again."
