When he gave me the bill, it was $100 more then expected. He charged me for travel time. Maybe that's normal, But I was not told that when I asked for charges."

"Sent messages to three, Angie's list highly rated electricians. Quickly received replies from two of them. The third did not reply at all. Decided to use Clancy Electric because they were the first to respond and they gave me a firm price, while the other company only provide a "rough estimate". I then called Clancy and they were able to schedule the job for the same day. The electrician, Jeff, and his assistant, I think his name was Zach (sorry if this is wrong - I'm terrible at remembering names) arrived later that afternoon. After checking the main panel and the location for the two switches, they both got right to work. The surge suppressor was installed and I was asked to look at the work to see if I was satisfied. Jeff also inspected the work. The two switches took a little longer; although one was a single pole switch, the second was a three-way which required some more complicated wiring. Jeff completed attaching the switches and tested them to make sure that both worked, before securing them in the switch box and replacing the cover plate. Again I was asked if I was satisfied with the work, which I was. Jeff then cleaned up the drywall dust and scraps that had fallen from the switch box opening. I found both men to be careful and conscientious workers. They were friendly, professional and made sure that I was happy with their work prior to presenting the bill. I would highly recommend Clancy Electric and will definitely use them again if I need any electrical work done."

"I have been looking for a TRUSTWORTHY electrical company. You know, the one you can give the key to your residence - having never met each other - and be assured the work is being done correctly and nothing will be missing. This company is it!! Never met them and gave them the key to my residence and they not only did the work BEAUTIFULLY but they cleaned up EVERYTHING. I wouldn't have even known they were there if it weren't for the fact that I hired them. We are doing more projects in the upcoming near future and I have no need to find another company. Electrical companies are HARD to come by and even harder to trust. Remember, it costs more to get a TRUSTED and LICENSED person who guarantees their work than it costs your buddy to do it. But I want to keep the value of my condo in peak order and I want all work done by licensed people who guarantee their work. My ceiling fans have been in now for a week or so and I have ZERO issues.
