The project included a challenging replacement of a spiral metal staircase with a traditional wooden staircase in a very limited amount of space. Kevin found solutions to all of the challenges along the way and built a great staircase that is much safer and easier to navigate. "I consider myself very lucky to have met Ricky and to have worked with him.  Ricky was recommended to me by a family friend and I walked over to introduce myself at a house he was working on nearby.  Smart move!  Ricky is straightforward, friendly and honest. That last adjective.....honest, is so important when someone is working on your home.  I am so pleased with the end results of Ricky's work.  He is very professional and very careful and concise in all of his work. <br /> At one point during a bathroom renovation, Ricky discovered wood rot in the floor.  He thoroughly investigated the problem rather than ignoring it and continuing with installation of the tile floor.  Ricky reviewed this issue with me, showing me what he found from both inside and outside the house, providing options for courses of action .  He was then able to incorporate extremely important repair into the bathroom renovation at a very reasonable cost, avoiding what could have been a dangerous situation and costly repair in the future. <br /> Ricky proved himself to be very trustworthy.  In the initial stages of his work, I was present.  Later, I would simply give him keys to the house and felt completely comfortable with him working when the family was away for sometimes weeks at a time.  He always treated our home with great respect and respectfully limited the impact of his work on the cleanliness and accessibility to the rest of the house. <br /> I have highly recommended Ricky to neighbors and friends in the area.  And there is no doubt that I will mainitain a strong relationship with him in the future. <br />"

"We were not only pleased with the work but with contractor and workers as well.  Contractor was the only one of three we contacted for estimates to return our call in a timely manner.  He helped us think through a couple of options and we then settled on the 4' crawl space as the one we could afford.  His estimate was thorough and a payment schedule was agreed upon by both parties prior to the work.  The work was scheduled and performed according to agreed upon time table.  Contractor and workers were knowledgable, helpful and respectful.  The project was completed with minimal disruption to our daily routine.  <br /> The estimate from Multy Builders was the only one we got so we are not certain how it would have compared to others.  Multy Builders was recommended to us by another contractor we used for a small job and they were the only one to respond to our intiial phone call in a timely manner so we went with them.  We have had no reason to doubt our decision.  The work is quality.  We know this because we have lived with it for the past 8 years and have never had an occassion to regret our choice of contractor.   Cost wise, we feel the outcome was well worth what we paid.   We would recommend Multy Builders without reservation.  As a matter of fact, we had them return to do the same work under a smaller portion of the house not covered in this project 3 years later. <br />"
