"We have used Maverick electrical for many times! From complex situations like running electrical to a new building to simply installing a new outdoor light. Chris is knowledgeable, professional and has the highest standards for his work. Here’s a list of projects completed for us by Mavericks. Ran new electrical from our house to our barn (350ft away). Installed a breaker panel in it and then ran outlets and installed lights/fans in it. Installed security light on our garage Ran electrical from our house to our new garage build. Installed breaker panel in the garage and then installed outlets. Replaced breakers in electrical panel when the circuit was overloaded Installed and ran cable for Starlink satellite We go with Mavericks because we know we’ll be happy with the outcome and we can trust them to do quality work!"

"I recently had quite a bit of electrical work done. GCFI outlets, install new fans, install outdoor lighting ad hardwire two outdoor fans. "We had Sunshine Construction install a brand new central A/C system at our home, and I can honestly say the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. Charlie was our main point of contact and made the whole process easy to understand, super communicative, responsive, and professional. Troy led the install crew and did an amazing job. Everything was done quickly, cleanly, and the system has been running flawlessly ever since. Customer service was top-notch, the team showed up on time, explained every step, and treated our home with care. I’d recommend Sunshine to anyone looking for HVAC work done right the first time."

"Shout out to Charles, Skip and CJ at Energy Electric, Inc! We had a perplexing electrical problem that they persevered on and ultimately solved for us. It took several visits but they answered every call I made and showed up on time for each appointment. I used a local Facebook site to try to locate an electrician immediately and Charles was the only one that answered the call and did not require me to leave a message. I give them â ï¸ â ï¸ â ï¸ â ï¸ â ï¸"

"Absolutely HANDS DOWN would Highly recommend. ? They went out of their way to find and order (on a holiday weekend when other RV repair companies said they were closed) a new converter for my RV that was blown out when the power went out in our area and I found out I did not have a good surge protector. They helped me with replacing a much better surge protector as well. I have also hired them for additional work to be done with re-sealing my RV roof and 3 slide-outs and to wash/wax my RV. Many Thanks and now my Go-To! Jess."

"Got the job done correctly. Also they were open and attentive to questions. Thought they were a bit inflexible with cost of project, initially quoting $1500 instead of $350 because chosen location for outlet was 10 feet instead of 5 feet from electric panel. I’m no expert but this seemed an unreasonable price difference for a few feet of cable. To resolve the issue I had them place the outlet closer to the panel."

We recently closed the purchase of our first home, and we wanted to do some changes before moving in. Of course the floors were priority because the property had old, ugly tile all throughout. We wanted to install hardwood so we started the hunting for good prices and a fair contractor to do the work. We went to several places but either we were not convinced of the products or the price was extremely high. Then, we saw an advertising for Angie?s List and decided to sign up. Here we found several companies but one in particular caught our attention: Martinez Wood Floors, so it was the first one we called to set up an appointment. Very pleased with their customer service and response, we set up the date for the estimate. They were on time and confirmed the same day of the appointment just to make sure there were not unpredicted changes. Things like this says a lot about a company, and we really liked the responsibility and seriousness they take with things. Everything went great the day of the estimate, regular things such as measuring the floors and discuss the peculiarities of the job to be done. His owner explained us the different types of wood and stains and also talked about the time of completion for the project. We coordinated to pass by their location to see some European Oaks on the next day, the place is small but very cozy and they have great prices for this type of floors. If you want to buy the wood with them, make sure you book a day because that?s how they work. It?s worthy, trust me. We selected an Espresso Midnight for a great price, some other stores and people were charging us almost 5 dollars more for a similar product. So we were very happy with the deal we got.

The wood arrived within a week and a half, and had to be acclimated for a few days. They kept it in their warehouse, which was very convenient because other work was going on in the house. Once everything was finished and the wood was ready, they started the installation. I have to say that when they began working, we had to go out of town for business and all the time we knew what was being done in the house. We kept close communication with the owner, who sent us pictures of the progress and talked to us about things where we had to make a decision. It is a very straightforward process and this company truly make it easier for you. I told them how I wanted things done, and they did a wonderful job. When we got back home everything was finished, it took about 10 days to finish everything. Great precision with cuts and baseboards. Very professional work and floors could not look better. I do not have the time to sit down and write reviews but I felt that I needed to share the wonderful experience we had with this company. I talk from experience that no other company will do your floors as good and for a great price like Martinez Wood Floors. So, if you are thinking on hardwood: these are your guys.

FAQs for electrical wiring or panel upgrade projects in Branford, FL

While homeowners with substantial electrical knowledge might technically attempt a subpanel installation, most local building departments require permits and inspections for this type of work. Professional electricians understand local code requirements, can obtain necessary permits, and ensure the installation meets safety standards. Given the significant safety risks associated with incorrect electrical work, most homeowners benefit from hiring a licensed professional.

A standard subpanel installation takes an average of four to eight hours. This timeframe may extend if you're installing multiple subpanels or adding specialized circuits like those for spa equipment. Factors such as difficult access points, complex wiring paths, or permit processing times can also affect the overall project duration.

Adding a subpanel doesn't directly reduce electricity consumption or lower your utility bills. A subpanel simply redistributes power from your main panel to additional circuits. However, organizing your electrical system more efficiently may help prevent overloaded circuits and the associated problems. For actual cost savings, consider energy-efficient appliances and lighting instead.

The appropriate subpanel size depends on your specific electrical requirements. Consider the number and type of devices you'll be powering, potential future needs, and the capacity of your main electrical panel. An electrician can perform a load calculation to determine the most suitable amperage rating for your situation, ensuring you have adequate power without overpaying for unnecessary capacity.

A main electrical panel connects directly to your utility's power supply and contains your home's primary service disconnect. It distributes electricity throughout your entire house. A subpanel, by contrast, receives power from the main panel and redistributes it to a specific area of your home. Think of the main panel as the primary distribution point and the subpanel as a secondary branch that extends your electrical system's reach.

While electrical upgrades aren't as immediately visible as kitchen or bathroom renovations, they can contribute to your home's functionality and safety. Prospective buyers often appreciate updated electrical systems that can accommodate modern power demands. A properly installed subpanel that provides additional capacity for workshops, home offices, or future expansions could be an attractive feature for certain buyers, though the direct impact on home value varies by market.
