"<p>Contacted Dalton Carpet One about a bathroom remodel.  Designer Lauren Harrell came to our house and did some measurements and we discussed some initial ideas.  We met a few days later at the business and Lauren had pulled out some sample tiles and had put together a plan that we agreed on.  Dalton Carpet One was then able to draw up a computer sketch of the plan so we could get a better idea of how the finished project would look.  After all agreeing on tile color and style, we received a printed detailed quote for materials and labor. We then finalized the decision that Dalton Carpet would do the job.  Dalton called and we set a date to do the remodel.  On the date, the installer came on time as promised and was very professional and used every precaution to keep the bathroom remodel in the bathroom and not do any harm to the other parts of the house. (This was an upstairs bathroom so he had to make a lot of trips up and down the steps.)  He kept me informed on his progress all along and how we wanted the shower to look.  Used the Schluter Shower system which is the best to help reduce any chance of shower leakage. ( The orange board and sealer strips like on many of the home shows.)  Changed out the shower head that I purchased and also installed tile backsplash on three walls around a jet tub.  This remodel took a whole week and during the week we had different representatives from Dalton Carpet One coming by and checking the progress, helping the installer and making sure the job was going to our liking and if we had any concerns.  </p> <p>The one thing I would like to add to this review is that if you are looking online and trying to decide who might do a flooring job or tile bathroom remodel for you then I'd say Dalton Carpet One is the type business you will want to do business with.  They have done all that we agreed on, the way we agreed on (no change of design or cost) and they did it in a professional way at the time they said they would do it.  </p> <br />"

"The entire process went very well. Jennie Hong and Joe Nocera responded to my inquiry on Angi with a home visit. We hit it off almost immediately as they could "see" my vision; a cleaner, more sophisticated staircase and upper common area that matched my entry and first level aesthetic. The entire process was explained to me with the use of a video and power point. All my questions were answered. Once the product was ordered, it was quickly delivered followed by installation over 2 days by really hardworking craftsmen...Carlos and his Crew!. The crew worked diligently, were respectful and careful with my furnishings and cleaned up after themselves. Jennie came on both days to monitor progress and check in with me on my comfort with the process, the look and final results. I love the new beauty and clean lines of the new look and highly recommend Floor Coverings International"

"<p>Daniel had scheduled our work for the afternoon after finishing his previous job. He promptly called when he knew he would be delayed by an hour or two. He arrived when he said he would and began work promptly. He and his assistant were professional and did a beautiful job. They cleaned up after themselves, leaving our home with a lovely new floor and no mess. We will happily use him again and refer him to friends.</p> <br />"

"I have used this company twice. Once to install carpet in masterbed room, which was a last minute decision and needed to get it done before our bathroom renevation. They were great to work with and were able to get our installation in the very next day. I have since had two other bed rooms carpeted. They are a pleasure to work with. Pricing is good, professional, good quality work. <br />"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Braselton, GA

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
