I agreed to accept his bid and he and his crew arrived on site the next day at the agreed hour. Once the process of removing the existing concrete driveway it became apparent that the base soil was very unstable and the blacktop paving that we had agreed upon would not be the durable driveway that I wanted. The owner carefully explained the situation and proposed a workable solution that would be more durable and cost effective. The work progressed smoothly and the owner kept me updated on each phase of the work. The work was finished quickly and I am very satisfied that this project came in on time and under budget.
