""We highly recommend Milo Insulation for all your insulation needs! Mark (the Sr. H.E. Inspector) was incredibly thorough during the inspection and explained everything to us clearly. During the installation of the MILEX? product, Domingo (the Plant Manager) was also very informative while James, Israel, and Marcos worked alongside him. This crew showed great effort and real 'teamwork' to accomplish the task. From beginning to end, we found the team to be fast, efficient, very professional, and cohesive. Our thanks to the Milo team for such a great experience?we are looking forward to having our home be cooler in the summer and comfortable in the winter! Thank you again.""

"Right before my warranty expired the bathtub I had refinished started peeling on the area in front of the tub. When I called to get it fixed the office that did the original job was redistricted and would not service me so there was some back and forth with the new location in my service area taking responsibility for the repair. They finally agreed to do the repair but never completed it. The area they fixed was patched but never repainted to match the rest of the tub so it now looks white in some area's but a dingy gray on the patched area and now my warranty has expired."

FAQs for spray foam insulation projects in Brenham, TX

Local and federal rebates are available for insulation installation, which can significantly reduce your overall costs. Many utility companies offer incentives or rebates to homeowners who improve their home's energy efficiency. Contact your local energy provider or government agencies to learn about available programs in your area, and consult with a professional insulation installer to maximize your savings.

It's not necessary to remove old insulation before adding new insulation, as long as the existing insulation is in good condition—dry, free of mold, and not damaged. Adding new insulation on top of old insulation can improve your home's energy efficiency by increasing the overall R-value. However, if the old insulation is wet, moldy, or damaged, it's best to remove it before installing new insulation to prevent potential health risks and ensure optimal performance.

Insulating a house takes between five and twelve hours for batts or boards, and two to five hours for spray foam or blown-in insulation. The exact time depends on the size of your home, the type of insulation, and the accessibility of the areas being insulated. Keep in mind that projects may take longer if old insulation needs removal, if there's a larger square footage, or if spaces are difficult to reach.
